The point of covers is not to make it better, but to put your own twist on it, and she clearly added her own flavor to the song. It ends up sounding very distinct from the original, but do not badmouth her. This does sound like Shakira's music, which means she made a successful cover.
You blew up my mind with this song and your voice besides anything I love about Elvis and his voice. Never ever have heard anyone before who could do so much different in melody and which is still recognisable.
Other singers always try to sing it the way Elvis did, but you did it a different way.. You win it. What a beautiful, serene and respectful performance to Elvis.

She is only popular cause she looks good. Phil Collins has all the skills but he looks like a fire plug, notice he has not had a #1 hit in a long time. I guess Justin Beeper and hannah montana are artist too, along with the other disney stars. Go listen to some John Lee Hooker or even some Slayer

Don't be fooled either I like Prince, now that guy is an artist, THE ARTIST for that matter. Most people think ill of him, I was just saying this girl should not come out and give some abridged version of a great song and try to claim it. She never will she doesn't have the heart too. Wow, there's a lot of Shakira haters! Everyone, this is what Shakira sounds like. The point of covers is not to make it better, but to put your own twist on it, and she clearly added her own flavor to the song. It ends up sounding very distinct from the original, but do not badmouth her. This does sound like Shakira's music, which means she made a successful cover.

You blew up my mind with this song and your voice besides anything I love about Elvis and his voice. Never ever have heard anyone before who could do so much different in melody and which is still recognisable.
Other singers always try to sing it the way Elvis did, but you did it a different way.. You win it. What a beautiful, serene and respectful performance to Elvis.
