I live in Michigan about 20 minutes away driving time from the Ontario border and although I have never been to Saskatchewan let alone knowing nobody there I have their license plate on the front of my van for the hell of it!!! One day I'm going to saskatchewan!!!

Actually most of the youth aren't leaving anymore - because there is lots to do here, most notably - work. I started my career here a few years back and received the most amazing opportunities here - if I had started on the ground floor at any other large corp in a large centre I would not have been able to do all I have or the opportunities to grow professionally - I'd still be in the mail room. As for the weather, did you seen the winter Vancouver had?
I would actually have a lot more respect for your opinion if you actually did leave, instead of just being a sniveling malcontent, who is all complaint and no action.
You say there is nothing to be proud of in this province - I feel sorry for you. Perhaps you can go some where you feel you belong and you can feel the pride that same pride we all feel to be in an great place. Good luck.
Personally i think Saskatchewan is what the south is to america, its all simple minded hickory. Im 18 and i know alot of my friends are looking to go to the coast or down to the states... not saying i like the states because i dislike the states deeply. But i guess it just must be that i grew up here wanting something more than just flat province, Ive always been a person who is interested in amazingly high buildings and mountings, oceans and i guess i was just put here by mistake by god LOL

The winters can get down to -50c with the windchill, at one point this past summer it was the coldest location in all of north America. The landscape gets very boring unless you enjoy looking at flat land... its like living on a piece of yellow paper.Just some fun facts about this "great" place. I cant wait to get out of here, you guys can all take my place.

There's a pretty easy fix to your problem - leave.
