Lampard creates a lot of chances

Mike spreads the ball well, but has a lot to learn

yet they dont come close to arsenal, each one of these midfielders are so technically gifted, passing, dribbling, creating, scoring and with Fabregas defending the back four, arshavin and co can concentrate on just attackin, they have by far the best midfield in the prem.

Don't be stupid. Starting next to Fabregas will be a deeper lying midfielder, not necessarily a "holding" midfielder, just someone that will work behind Fabregas. To think that we would start with Arshavin, Fabregas, Nasri AND Rosicky is just silly. Yes Arshavin, Rosicky and Nasri are all capable of playing central - that is their natural role - but so are all of our wingers. Wenger likes wingers with technical ability who like to cut in behind the strikers, i.e. Freddy, Pires and Hleb.

There would be no balance to the team. A backline of 4 with 6 out-and-out attacking players infront just wouldnt make sense. Granted, Denison still has a long way to go, but he has been seriously overlooked this season. He has shown versatility and drive. He plays alot deeper than Cesc, but still chips in with assists and the odd goal from time to time. We're playing great, and its partly to do with his effort, he has helped the back 4. 10 clean sheets in 14 games speaks volumes.

I would have to agree with you there. When Denilson first came into Arsenal's Carling cup squad years ago, he was better attacking, I found it hard to believe that he plays as a defensive midfielder for Brazil! For me, Diaby is that natural successor to Vieira. The only problem is, he gets used to often to cover injuries to our wingers. I think once he's got a few games under his belt in central midfield, we will see the best of him. He's creative, and with his size he can dominate the midfield.

LOL. Well initially it was the injuries to the other players. With a fully fit squad, he would be on the bench behind RVP, Ade, and Eduardo. He misses alot of chances, but he will come good eventually, he is only 20 afterall. Considering he has a lack of pace, he does get into a lot of good goal scoring positions, and that means that he has good movement off the ball, and intelligence. He just needs to work on his composure, first touch, and finishing. Even Henry struggled.

It was worse during the Carling cup defeat to Burnley. He missed five one-on-one chances to score! Unforgivable really. But you're forgetting, it's not Wenger's plans to have him as our starting striker. If RVP, Eduardo and Ade were fit, Bendtner would be on the bench, which is where he belongs at this stage of his development. Again, he's only 20, and he does actually play well, he just needs to be clinical infront of goal, it will come with experience. Even Ade's not too good infront of goal.

In what formation? We can't have 3 wingers and just Fabregas in the middle by himself. If anyone takes Denilson's place it'll probably be Diaby. We set up as a standard 4-4-2, only with wingers that cut in allowing the width to come from overlapping fullbacks. Either way we start with 2 central players and 2 wide players. Cesc needs a deeper lying midfielder next to him to allow him to get forward. Denilson, Diaby, Song, Ramsey and Bischoff are the options. Rosicky is a winger.

Heard this rumour before, but thats all it is, a rumour! Have a think about it for a second. What usually happens when a player fails a drug test? Every tabloid in the country hears about it! The F.A. are under constant pressure to publically discipline players. Regarding the injury; they didnt know exactly what the problem was. He went into training a number of times thinkin that 3weeks would be enough for a hamstring strain, before realising the problem was actually with the hamstring tendon.

unfortuneately tendon injuries (which is what he has) get aggravated extremely easily and once aggravated take over 100 days to heal.

not sure if this is uniform but when a tendon is damaged it usually takes 100 days to heal, and he clearly has a very serious problem with the hamstring tendon, which is comparitevely larger than most other tendons, hence a longer recovery and rehab time.i just hope he can get back to his best
