Somewhat of a propaganda piece. It would be nice to get a real history of LDS, including the darker side. But I fear the wagons are too tightly circled for that to occur.

Personally I don't think Youtube is the best place to get information anyway. If you want an accurate history of Joseph Smith and the early Mormon Church, read "Rough Stone Rolling" by Richard Bushman. It is very straightforward and has been praised by Mormons and non-Mormon historians alike.

Darker you mean when the Gov or Mo made it a state law that it was OK to shoot a mormon on site. Or you must mean when the antis came into MO and excuted all of us that did not flee. Yes those were some darker times. Its a great time to be a saint now though. No more can the lies and hate of satan stop us from bringing all of the saints back to the restored gospel. Its a great time to be a saint

We do need to be a lot stronger and more faithful in our days now, if we want to feel comfortable in the next life, rubbing shoulders with such spiritual giants like all God's prophets called to lead us.
