LOL. When I was a teenybopper, all my favorite shows were on NBC, and I made a paper version of this "N" symbol and taped it above my bed. Wow, what a geek I was.

@Macintosh3745 The Nebraska Educational Television Network, a PBS member network, sued NBC because the NETN already had a logo that looked like the one NBC came up with.

Sometimes, this logo would be seen as a "slide", with a staff announcer like Don Pardo delivering a live I.D.- "This is the NBC Television Network".

They had this ident posted on a video that contained the "Billy Jack" feature film, from around this time(if not from 1977).
