  • Try the connex 3300 hp, check it out at bellscb.com

  • hey i'm looking for a CB radio (maybe "export" / "scanner") for my car. Something sub $200. Can you give me any advice? I plan to mount a 6ft magnet antenna. Thanks!

  • Hi thanks for the review.. I saw one of these on sale on ebay and it says MARS Capable..what does that mean?

  • Great review, Will it work on 11 meter? What is the frequency range?

  • I notice there is not a 10k switch. Is this radio 10k compatible? If so, are there duplicate channels on 3,7,11 and so on? Thanks

  • @classicwax I found the info in the manual.

FREQUENCY DISPLAY: Displays the 100kHz and

10kHz position of the operating frequency. For

example, when operating 28.750MHz, the display

    will show 75.

To see the MHz position, press the PTT switch on

the microphone and the MHz position will briefly be

displayed. For example, when operating 28.750MHz

and the PTT switch is pressed the display will show

    28.

  • How much is one of these radios going to be selling for?

  • thank you for your service and dedication to the cb community! 73's!

  • Magnum did a good job on this rig although it would be an Awesome radio if they would have included SSB

  • as always thanks for the review!

  • no ANL / NB? it would be cool if magnum released a roger beep board that is programmable or adjustable

  • how clean would you say the receive is?

  • interesting says i might have to upgrade from the old dx55v

  • Kind of off topic but I really liked to Magnum handheld you reviewed. I always liked walkie talkies since I was a kid and most of us enjoyed them. What I would like to see is RCI come out with a competative handheld to the magnum. I always wanted a handheld that could go from self powered to car adaptor with an ext. mic and speaker then be able to take it from the vehicle to the house and use it as a base. Not that that is an ideal set-up by any means but just knd of neat.

  • Not too bad...not too bad at all.....I still have to stick w/my, Magnum Omegaforce S-45HP!! The circuit board inside of the Raptor looks similar to that of a Radio Shack board, small...not too complicated...organized for simple adjusting.....i'm sure this would be a great starter radio for those who would like to get into the hobby. Nice Video & again Thanks for sharing!!

  • ssb would be nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keep up the great videos
