@mookindook: While I'll admit Vidjo did make some obvious mistakes, like QA suiciding, these players are by no means bad. Omnigamer is an excellent player, and I've never heard of him playing Ganon, so it is plausible that he could've been sabdbagging. Please don't bash players that are most likely much better than yourself. And if you play only Brawl, you're even worse.

So this is Melee's version of Pikachu... No thunder or skull bash? No wonder on the tier list he seriously got downgraded. I mean I'm a Pikachu user, and that's why I like using him. But only in Brawl. Nothing else. (except for future SSB games)

guys i have to be honest, but i believe marth should be on top of the tier list. fox is cool and all, but marth's range and grabs are just too broken. look at m2k and ken, and azen sometimes. they main marth at the time they are completely dominating the rest of the smash community

Fox for one, is easily better than marth. He has a huge variety of attacks, incredible speed, good vertical and horizontal killing moves, great grabs, an awesome spike, amazing smashes, decent defense, good semi-unpredictable recovery. He has no flaws.

Marth also has many advantages, but has no vertical killing moves and very predictable recovery.

PC Chris and his falco usually beat Ken and his Marth anyway, so you really aren't right.

Many has beaten PC Chris also. You should have said many has beaten Ken or something like that. Neo and Ken are the most noticed by what I've read about Marth and Roy(obviously). Ken lost the king of low tiers battle to Neo with both being Roy, but lost to Ken as Marth. Be more diverse(not an order).

You misinterpret the point of tier lists. Characters lower on the tier lists have substantially higher learning curves.

For example: It's a hell of a lot easier to learn Fox as opposed to learning Mewtwo.

Fox has the highest potential of all the characters in SSBM and he is one of the hardest characters to be really good with because he takes so much technical skill to use properly.

It's much harder to win with Mewtwo, but Fox is significantly harder to learn...

You're both right. Fox is easy to learn, in that his style is easy to create. But, pro moves such as wave-shining, and controlling immense speed are all very difficult and outweigh what characters like Mewtwo need to know. However, Mewtwo takes a lot of skill to win with. They're both very difficult to learn in their own ways, regardless of their tier. I realize I'm being too specific with Mewtwo as an example, but yeah.

Ganondorf is very strong, though he has a somewhat bad recovery. His jump isn't too far or high, and his run speed is pretty much slow.

Which is why he's somewhere in the middle, but not exactly middle tier (I'm not sure, haven't seen the list in a while)

Sheik is the noob's best friend... Simple yet extremely effective combos, a great recovery that just takes a bit to get used to, and speed without the control difficulty of Fox and CF.
