love the 5.9 it may shoot black smoke out the tail pipe but it,s diesel. All the new diesel have emissions control units to keep them from smoking.To me it is just one more thing you got to fix.

@MrHeadshot1982 just do the deletes after your warranty is off. It will cost you less to do an EGR delete, buy a tuner, and straight pipe exhaust than keep the emissions stuff fixed if they break after the warranty is gone. also the 5.9L had emissions stuff from 2003+ until they stopped making it.

@JardineRT1 Its not called a REGEN its called a DPF Diesel Particulate Filter which occasionally preforms a self cleaning called a Regeneration or a REGEN. Also the latest cummins have a SCR system. Selective Catalytic reduction using UREA fluid

WHAT??? this is one of the dumbest things ive heard. p pumped 24v with a 12v head. have u heard of taking steps backwards cuz thats what thats doing. why would u use a head with half the valves port and polish it and then say its gets better airflow. NO!!! its called get a 24v and port and polish the head send the p7100 pump out to flow more fuel since it cant flow a ton even with a 0 fuel plate. then u can still adjust the timing and have the mech pump and say hx60

@InsideOutside2013 do you know wha your talking about? you cant put a 12v head on a 24v motor unless you swap the pistons from the 12v, the 24v head flows more than the 12v hence the 24v's and wtf do you mean about controlling the timing of the 24v
