@1290418 It is a great scene because it shows a bit more to the character's initial thoughts on each other, but maybe they could it because they thought the conversation dragged a bit, or maybe the scene just wasn't supposed to be that long in the first place; I hope this scene was just an extra for the fans :D

@kidpool1: Tony has a time limit before the shard penetrates his heart, when the Mini-Arc reactivates it puts the shard back in place (basically retracting the sharp and eventually restarting the time limit). That Mini-Arc reactivates by recharging it's self, as long as Tony doesn't do anything he's good. The Mini-Arc is a self-sustaining power generated, allowing it to gather energy around it and recharge/sustain itself. Tony has since advance upon the original 3 times altering its capabilities

I wish they did include a sort of final "edge of death scene" like this. This was a really cool scene, but I can kinda see why it was taken out, it was kinda inappropriate and didn't really fit the tone. The scene came off as being a little playful. It would've been nice if they'd included a scene that was a TAD bit more serious in terms of screenplay. Stane didn't come off as a man on the verge of death in this scene.

Btw yeah it pretty much is a massive cliffhanger when you break it down. Just atch the Iron Man : Alternade ending next to the video and ignore how he says batman instead of iron man and their yeah go really.
