What a Waste. Beautiful Bar-Piano. I like those rusty ones that sound a little bit out of tune. But do you know what is the most interesting thing on that? Every Piano-Smash Video tells the story of some stupid guys who have nothing to do with their time, so they smash a Piano, not even knowing that someone would buy it for a few hundred Euros/Dollars/Pounds. I made a perpetual motion machine, the only one anyone ever has seen.

I put it together w/o any plan, and so was more than surprised when it ran.

I made it from skateboards and bicycle parts, discarded pianos and old shopping carts. I didn't write down how I did what I did, don't even remember how I put on the lid. It's power apparently hasn't a source, not gas or electric, atomic or horse.

Pordiosero80, do you realize how many people just give pianos away? Hell, just go on craigslist and the free stuff and I guarantee that you'll see at least five pianos that people are just giving away. Pianos are a tough thing to sell, and a pricey one to fix, so people just get rid of them, and this just happens to be a way to get rid of them.

Somebody could have. Some one that has a lot of extra money. Restringing, tuning, replacing keys, etc, no way a less fortunate person could have used this piano unless they want to learn/play on an old out of tune piano that most likely has broken keys. Hey, if you like using a piano in that kind of shape then so be it. But most people wouldn't.

Repairing pianos costs thousands of pounds or dollars. Very time consuming and takes great skill.

What we see in the video is not a musical instrument. It's a piano shaped lump of old wood, iron and steel, which makes a noises and is worth nothing. Only one use for this thing.. recycling.
