I feel your pain bro (but not to that extent. Seriously, i can stand on a table). I live in California, so I am able to go to Yosemite. But of course when i go with my family, hey decide we should go the shorter, far more terrifying way: on Old Priest's Grade. You would FREAK. OUT. The road is pretty narrow and it's as steep as heck. Plus, no railing. I believe that is the source of my fear of heights in cars. I hate riding in a car on winding, cliff-y roads.

Don't worry John, I have a legitimate fear of getting into water that is above my knees. I can get into pools and what not, but only if they have a butt load of chlorine in them and definitely have NOTHING living in it. Meaning I have to be forced to get into lakes and the ocean. And I literally CANNOT play video games that have a water level. Or watch movies that are squared around the water. I had to run out of the room and hyperventilate for 10 minutes when my friends were watching Jaws.

Table standing is fun! My Mum frequently has to tell me and other smaller members of our household to get OFF the table because we all appear to have been born with this complete trust that if we were to fall then someone would catch us and failing that we'd fly or land on our feet or something soft or whatever... The argument to get us down is usually "If you break the table granite and table grills are expensive to fix!". I have fallen through a garden table. I was dancing on it :/

When I was younger, when my dad worked on the roof, he had me do it because while I was afraid of heights, my brothers REALLY didn't like heights. So I'd stand atop a twenty-foot ladder and hold stuff up to the eaves while he drilled them on. So now I'm okay with heights. I don't like them, but I can handle them fine.
