  • I remember seeing him do this on Ed Sullivan - great bit! Also, recall him singing a song called, "George Fink." "George Fink, lived with his mother and sold washing machines... One night he came home tired from his job at the washing machine company - he went into the kitchen and cleaned it up a little bit - and made himself an American Cheese sandwich." That's how it began and ended - there was a little bit more in the middle - but not much - can't really recall it. Anyone else remember?

  • "What A Crazy Guy" reached #27 on the hit parade May 9, 1953. The other side of this single, "There Is A Tavern In The Town," also charted, reaching #24. It was Cox's only successful single.
