  • karate kattas are much better than this shit

  • @tokhionlinearcor fuck that, this is absolutelly beautifull and lot of meaning in each move, you surely dont understand anything!!! please dont talk stupid things

  • Thank you I'm testing for black belt tommorow and it has helped a lot wish me luck :)

  • like

  • I studied the Palgwe series long ago and am just now learning these Taegeuk forms. Some similarities but the feet are going to mess me up like hell. Nice vids

  • isnt he suppose to say HTS then farting sounds -_-

  • @toriklee hahahahahaha he belives the that the sound its real hahahahaha this is sooooooooooo funny....

  • nice that really helped me :))

  • is this official

  • @starheiko official but really really old

  • WTF FOR - WHAT THE FUCK

  • @offgreat1 and yes I'm going to fuck you :)

  • @offgreat1 thats a really old joke, bro -_-

  • @offgreat1 World TKD Federation, dumbass.

  • WTF - World TKD Federation

  • what does WTF stand for?

  • @TheDraco108 World TaeKwonDo Federation

  • @TheDraco108 WHAT THE FUCK :))

  • @offgreat1 lol

  • wow he can make a uniform sound with a middle block...what power!

  • can someone please help me?! if he moves to the right, doesnt it mean we have to move left?? since he's like facing in front of us?? or is it if he goes right, we do too ?? can someone please answeer me! thankk yoou! message me on my account or comment .. thankss!

  • @luvpup21 yea i think it is not mirrored

it starts from the left so u do the opposite direction he does

  • @luvpup21 yes, its inverted, you should do it exactly like him. Dont stand looking at him, give him your back and do the same. Like the video. Or do it inverted if you are facing at the video.

  • since we are facing in front of him, isnt the steps backwards?? like if he goes to the left, we have to do the opposite nd go right.. is tht true? or we go left if he goes left? cause im confused! :S

  • I wish my dojang would train in such scenic places lol.

  • Para la gente que hable español este pumse es para ser cinturon blanco punta amarilla o amarillo. Memoricenselo bien que en cinturones avanzados se lo volveran a tomar!

  • excellent! it's hard to follow the katas in the book Taekwondo by BS Huan. Thanks for this video collection. :-)

  • What's the name of this master?

  • @Restayvien I think that's his sleeves snapping..........

  • hey wtf thats a karate's kata !

  • What's with the comedy sound effects every time he performs a move...?

  • @Restayvien I think that's he's sleeves snapping..........

  • @Restayvien Its the sleeves because he punched hard that it made sleeve rustling sounds

  • @SKlegomovies

Either he's got wooden clappers in his sleeves or a microphone hidden up there to amplify the sound. I've seen people perform better 'snap' action without a loud thud every time. ^^ Maybe his Dobok is designed to be noisy...lol

  • @Restayvien HE DOESNT!I go to tae kwon do and my grand master made those sounds because he punched hard (really hard and quick)

  • @SKlegomovies

Like I said, the suit must be designed to make that noise when a hard punch is thrown, because I've seen many very powerful punches in Doboks from various Tae Kwon-Do practitioners and it doesn't make that noise even if they punch very hard.

  • @Restayvien HAHahahahahhahaaaa Now please don't tell me you get facts from TV!

  • @SKlegomovies

Not at all, I have been a Tae Kwon-Do student for many years. Why, is that where you learnt your manners?

  • @Restayvien no and plus I'm like.South korean and half canadian

  • @SKlegomovies

    ...well done?

  • @Restayvien nah just shut up for a while because I am sick like I have a fever

  • @SKlegomovies calm down

  • @Restayvien its te snapping sound that the DoBok makes, it pretty much means hes doing it right.

  • @Restayvien its his gi snapping

  • @iljang123

It's called a Dobok. A Gi is a Karate uniform.

  • @Restayvien i thought it was a gi because i did korean karate and iljang was a kata in that

  • @Restayvien They're basically the same thing, Dobok is just the Korean word for it and Gi is the Japanese word.

  • @Restayvien those "sound effects" are his dobok snapping because of his precision moves

  • @Deathflame9001 Correct, was just about to say.

  • @Restayvien if ua are fast u can hear it

  • clrapp you sucks..

  • Taekwondo sucks

  • c'est cool j'ai appris tout mes poomases avec ce gamin la

  • damn i need to do i cant remember 2 and 3 for my black belt test

  • his stances arent low enough and he sint breathing when he does block or strikes but hes square up and hes chambering his kick good, and my class' forms are way different

  • His front stance isnt low enough and hes not breathing, and our forms are different from these

  • The very last part of everything, when you step and punch, my teachers never told me to do the step.

    I guess I should bring it up, shouldn't I?

  • This video really helped me with my taegeuk! =] Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • My master says if i get this really well then i'm going straight from white belt to green belt blue tip.

  • @Voltagia2 that's a lie xDDDD sorry =s

  • @apocalytical Yeah turns out i had to learn the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pattern aswell to get green belt blue tip :P My bad. I got the 2nd and 3rd pattern all good and the 4th pattern is the one that'll get me to green belt blue tip.

  • muito bom , preciso fazer o exame , agora sanei minhas duvidas , obrigado!

  • @Kyasuriinx Oh, did you get it? I'm really happy for you if you did. I am a black stripe, and working towards getting my black belt. I became black stripe 8 months ago, so I should get my black belt pretty soon. I think my test is in 2 or 3 months. Anyways, good luck with your future in Taekwondo. :)

  • @Kyasuriinx Oh, did you get it? I'm really happy for you if you did. :) I am a black stripe. I became black stripe about 8 months ago. I'm not sure when my test is, but I think it's in about 2 to 3 months. Anyways, I wish you good luck in your future of Taekwondo.

  • ITF and WTF are the best imo.

  • Love the sound effects! lol!

  • starts like taikyoku shodan

  • hehe, quited taekwondo for 1 year now, next week im gonna give it a 2nd try ^^

  • In my tkd school it goes White Yellow Orange Green Purple Blue Brown Brown red stripe Red Red blk stripe Red 2 blk stripe Black
  • that means that you are in a mcdojang .search on wikipedia.i am a wtf practitioner (but this is also in itf )and we only have white yellow green blue red black with the combinations of 2 consecutive belts(for example:white, white with yellow, yellow, yellow with green, etc)

  • this is too easy try shaolin kung fu it is a bit harder

  • @ryanWeap that was an unnecessary comment

  • this sucks

  • this is my first form for white belt.

  • dont you mean yellow belt

  • Thats yellow belt.

  • very helpful started taekwondo a few weeks ago finally get it now

  • Hmm, different from mine. I do front stances though and its longer than the ones this guy is doing.

And this guy has the pigeon head when he kicks lololol.

  • THIS is WTF , theres 2 major kinds itf more tradiotional and wtf more competetive , in wtf i know it goes, white, yellow strip, yellow, geen stripe, green, blue stripe blue, red stripe red, black stripe, black i think thats how it is for the black belt

  • well, in sweden it is: White Yellow Green Green with one blue stripe Blue Blue with one red stripe Red Red with one black stripe Red with two black stripes Red with three black stripes and then 9 dan
  • @isakmo and if you are under 15 and takes black you get a red-black belt

  • isakmo is 100% correct. Don't downrank without reason

  • I have a different Taekwondo ATA kind. By watching this, I remembered the Philippines and old memories. In my Taekwondo ATA, It goes white, orange, yellow (me), camoflauge, green, purple, blue, brown, red, and then black belt, 1st degree black belt, 2nd degree black belt, 3rd degree black belt, 4th degree black belt, 5th degree black belt and so on. It was also from Korea. ATA means American Taekwondo Association. We have promotions and tournaments too!! I think both Taekwondos are cool! So Fun

  • i just starded, i have to learn this one to get my yellow belt :D

  • In Australia, it goes ... White Yellow 1 stripe (me) Yellow 2 stripes Yellow 3 stripes Blue 1 stripe Blue 2 stripes Blue 3 stripes Red 1 stripe Red 2 stripes Red 3 stripes Half red, half black Black Then your 9 Dan grades.
  • thanks! helped alot! i got my yellow belt! =D

  • Nice video, I note that my style of Taekwondo uses a much wider stance, which is typical as it is a traditional old school dojang.

However I find that a lesser wide stance, such as the one demonstrated, allows the transition of motion to be a bit smoother and easier but less powerful.

    Interesting trade off.

    Nice video!

  • 2 - white - white/yellow - yellow - yellow/green- green - green/blue - blue - blue/red - red - red/black - black

  • @hazardbmx2 this is ITF belts. I did tae kwon do in Brazil (Belo Horizonte)

  • About the graduation.. people the graduation in the colored belts have many variations in diferente countrys and local federations in usa after de white belt you take the orange belt in brazil you take the yelow belt.. it realy does not matter at all.

in brazil works in two ways because we have two big federations filiated to WTF, about the ITF federations i realy dont now how it work.

    1- white - yellow - green - blue - red - red/black - black

    continues....

  • now i have my orange belt! :) Thanks!

  • hana dul set net daso yaso ilgo judul aho jul

  • thats the first taegeuk!!!!!

  • thanks i have a tournament soon and i've oly learnt that poomse once!!!!

  • hehe..baru jak tadi aku amik TEGO..hahaha..

  • We did this to get to orange belt, not yellow belt.

  • orange?

  • Yep, orange, the one after white.

  • i thought yellow was after white

  • Apparently every taekwondo school is different.

  • I recently started to learn taekwondo and this vid beign very useful to me, thx dude

  • wow! i guess i have learnt these forms now.

  • Thank you for the review. I am testing soon for orange belt and needed a review, last week we did not have class. thank you!

  • thanks dude in my class i wasnt paying attention :(

  • i only need it because im refreshing my mind but im an orange advanced:)

  • in Canada u need to know Basic 1,2,3 and Taeguk 1 and 2 to pass to yellow belt... some ppl in the states say they r yellow and dont know Taeguk 1 yet?=sounds like mcdojang.

  • Actually i got my WTF certificated yellow belt without any poomsae. Now for the green belt i need the Taegeuk Il Jang and the Taegeuk I Jang.

I think the procedure is leaded my the national taekwondo federation. Otherwise my saboe nim teache me wrong. But I'm pretty shure a 7 Dan grand Master should know what the deal is.

  • ? Really? No poomsae required?

    Wow, times have changed.

    kp

  • In my school, we do basics and five different one steps at white belt, followed by Il Jang the next three belts. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a McDojang. After all, after three belts of doing one form, we expect it to be extremely good, or at least expect the students to know it very thoroughly, including proper technique and such. It is preferable to learning a brand new form every two months and then going right to the next one; at my school, we need to remember all of the forms we do.

  • i just got my yellow belt today and i wanted to get a head start on my form

  • nice man :) what do i need to do to get a yellow blet too?

  • just learn ur basic form learn how to count to 10 in korean and learn how to tie your belt

  • Thanks alto's this is well help me to remember it :)

  • Thanks a bunch.

  • thanks for the video! I've been out of training for a few years and this is a great refresher...

  • Thank you so much, this helped me a lot. I have an orange belt test, and we only went over this like a few times, and I still didn't get it... now I do... : >

  • thanks ½!

  • sounds to me like he's farting each movement, not snapping his uniform :P

    otherwise good vids.

  • thts not taegeuk 2 thats taegeuk 2

  • excellent visual aid! Thank you for posting! I will be testing for my first degree in one week! I am stoked! I have worked long and hard and it has all been worth it. To everyone, never quit! When you get there and beyond you can look back and realize and remember the growth!

  • @matthewsolis247 did u have to pay for the testing?

  • @Ruiso1 mostly yes. you got to pay for testing.

  • @Ruiso1 Well yeah I had to pay! You have to remember they are not just master instructors, they are also business owners and operators. So like any other westernized business they have overhead costs for said business and usually a family to feed.

  • @matthewsolis247 We pay to my master's church for the privilege of his knowledge.

  • @matthewsolis247 tha'ts just white belt yellow stripe pattern... lol i got the test this friday...

just saying that this isn't that far...

  • O Man, Thank you!!! I needed this

  • Oh thanks this video is so helpful ! I will take my test to become a Yellow Belt next month :D Thanks again!!!!

  • I just got my first black belt last Saturday, and I gotta say videos like this were quite helpful in helping me smooth out the edges :D

  • 7 years of TKD and hold a red/black (almost there!) Reviewing forms in preparation for my 1 Dan test in November in an attempt to PERFECT everything I know. There are certain minor things I need to fix, but overall my forms are correct. It's just a small hip movement I need to work on in Ryuk-Jang (six), and correcting a stance in Chil-Jang (seven). The rest of my forms are pretty much accurate. I just need to improve my focus, power, and pacing.

  • thank you so much :D helped me alot :D

  • lol me too! I've been looking for a video like this EVERYWHERE.

  • perfect form... i have too learn from 1st to 7th if i wanna turn red in june

  • Good luck!

  • I do Taekwon-do myself, but with ITF and to me this really looks funny. Never knew there were such big differences between the tuls (taegeuk). I look very stiff and almost like a robot, our tuls it is all about flexible and sinewave. Still cool though!

  • I just got a white belt and working towards my yellow!

I know how do to the forms correctly... just having a hard time remembering the order...

Is there a mirrored version of this vid anywhere so I can follow along?

  • I need to know this by this Sunday, going for my high yellow belt. very helpful video

  • yeh im green belt blue in 1 week

  • cool ill be red in 2 mpnths (congrats for passing the exam.... u passed didnt ya?)

  • yes i did im blue belt now got my belt today

  • Guys out there. I also I'm practising Tae Kwon Do and I'm white belt. Ha ha ha ha

  • this is taekwondo

  • Yup

  • nope thats only in karate!! thats exactly how you are supposed to do it in wtf tae kown do.

  • he is doing the proper walking stance for junior patterns i should know im a black belt myself

  • this helps me with training since i have yellow and i stopped 4 years ago now i want to start agan and need to learn it agan i like it that this has been put on youtube

    *thanks*

  • The foot and fist aren't supposed to land simultaneously. The foot is supposed to set before the hand technique is used. Otherwise you end up losing balance and power.

  • You are correct I dont know what Wejessey was thinking.

  • In some styles of TKD, the foot and fist are supposed to land at the same time. In other styles, the foot lands first. Both styles make the same claim, that they're way generates more power.

  • Their, not they're. That's what I get for talking to someone while typing.

  • I agree with you,"iuramentum".My son coach is 6th Dan and 4th degree poomse judge, teaches my son to do it simultaneously. But in some move it's possible to do it.

  • on the lower belt levels (not approaching black belt), we learn to break it down into steps:

    look, load, step, execute.

but at the black belt level, the transitions become blurred and it's all 1 movement:

    lookloadstepexecute.

it's a demonstration of your timing and control.

  • @Chibirisu if you look better then you will see that he first places the foot and then punches. so he doesnt do anything wrong...

  • @Chibirisu no. you wrong. it is supposed to be like that. that sign wave is correct. think before you talk

  • very good and idael for training
