Jesus ! She sang thousands of difficults roles in Madrid's TR & She always get the Victory on a very difficult place....Rossini's VIaggio, Norina , Gilda, etc... ). This is just sublime. Yo he escuchado a los dos en directo, en el Real de Madrid, y te aseguro que Cantarero gana muchísimo en directo, no así Juan Diego Florez. Tiene una técnica increíble, pero la voz es más bien pequeña, todo lo contrario de la de ella.

Florez sings like a God. Just heard him yesterday in Paris. He keeps improoving. The pianissimi are even better.Barcellona was dreadful, but it was not a surprise.Cantarero is even worse. Maybe is it a trick to appear with ladies who can't sing in order to enhance his genius...just jocking. Cantarero should come back to study the basis of technic, sound production and breathing.

For the record, I love Florez' singing. I have have him in my iTunes and purchase most of his recordings (I may have all of them). But...about Florez singing with ladies who can't sing... ummmmmm.... it's VERY possible.

Usualy, when this duet is sung, the soprano overpowers the tenor, here it is the other way around. Florez is great, while Cantarero sounds just nasty.
