I like it when they sing, but I hate it when they sing at 3am, and I definately hate their high pitch squeaks they do sometimes

@Aleque I think that's the female that makes the annoying sounds, not sure why they do that, i have one in my garden doing it now, she has chicks and a worm in her mouth but has been making that sound for hours. might be looking for her husband as a look-out.

I don't know why people rate the nightingale song so highly. To me the blackbird has the best song of any bird I've ever heard. Where I live now there are few birds around but every spring one blackbird appears on a nearby rooftop to sing and it's such a treat.

one of the best sounds in the world, i'm lucky i live in an area with lots of different birds but when the blackbird sings i always have to stop and listen.

there's usually a couple here, and then you can really hear that theyre just chattering with eachother from distances, without them it doesnt feel like spring

Thank you so much for uploading this- I use it every night around dusk- as that's when we get them here in Australia. I don't often here them where I am now so playing this 3 times in a row every night helps me calmly end the day so perfectly...better than meditation. Blackbirds are my favourite songbird.

@rekycheky we have one in our street and it 'sings' the same few sounds over and over and over and over and over.. its not random sounds it has its own jukebox of quick querks and it plays them over and over and over and over does my fucking head in!

@dwarfer777 The blackbird I have has his unique melodies too.

It is one year old now.He imitates exactly what he hears from mp3's (other blackbirds) and it is like he plays it back..For now his melodies aren't very clear and aren't loud .But he has his own ID sounds.Not songs ..just special sounds ,ID sounds he likes to repeat.
