  • lol 0:54 Phil says "Cry Like A Baby" and that guy in front of the camera rubs his eyes a couple of times

  • I like the sound of this version better than the one from the studio sessions, cheers mate. Pity about the black- haired guy in front of the cameraman, haha.

  • Awesome! Been a massive Lizzy/Lynott fan since the early 80's. Seen them several times, met the man himself and collected all their stuff.....have got the audio of this show but never seen the footage so a HUGE thanks for posting it here. Great stuff. He IS the Legend.

  • que lastima de proyecto, era buenísimo, compuso grandes temas que se le han atribuido a lizzy pero fue con grand slam cuando se crearon.

    phil único!!.

  • I wonder if they remember me, I was at Bath Uni when they played there and gave Phil a photo of me and my band, 'The Boys'. I wish I'd had more time then, but I was with friends who had the transport and they wanted to get home....

  • nice one i was there and this brings it all back

  • where did you get this footage. i was at this festival, and this is the first footage i've ever seen.

  • Absolutely superb mate. Phil Lynott is an absolute legend.

  • Thank you for posting. I saw grand Slam first true band i every saw on stage they changed my world.

Didnt know there was anything of them around. You have just made my day

  • Glad you liked it

  • Grand Slam didn't sound much different to Lizzy. I wished he'd just kept Lizzy together. It was the best band in the world.

  • savage phil was the man wish i meet him only i was 2 when he passed away just goes 2 show his music still has an effect on people

  • what a poet, jesus speech less, not jokin like my first breath of air thankx for da footage

  • What a pity someone didn't get the gobshite with the big head in front of the camera to sit the f**k DOWN!!!!

  • Amazing thanks so much for this ultra rare footage... I had heard from various sources that Grand Slam were amazing live... and now I see they weren't wrong! Cheers again!

  • The "Live 1984" disc isn't complete. 'Yellow Pearl' and 'Nineteen' are played before 'Sisters of Mercy' and 'Crazy' is played in the middle; none of which are on the released DVD. I have the whole audio of this show, SBD quality, except for "Cold Sweat", which comes from this source. It's available for trade (for a comparable GS show), but not something I plan on posting. As far as videos...I don't watch them, so I don't collect them.

  • My comment was directed toward 101, not Lizzyman. Nice to see you again Lizzyman...did you receive my thank you's?

  • Cool,Thanks For The Info

  • i was there best day of my life.

have complete uncut dvd to trade.

  • Yep, pretty cool to finally see this. The picture is nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be, based on what I heard from fans that bought this disc. Obviously they expected PRO quality picture, but REAL fans know better. An audience video with fairly decent sound is a hell of a lot better than nothing.

  • Thanks For the coment Blacksabfan.
