I've watched both of your 3GS videos, but when I open fixrecovery43 it doesn't have the option for windows XP. It only has latest version under compatibility for windows 2000. Will this work if i want to go back to 4.3.3? I don't have any SHSH's saved so sadly i can't follow your untethered video. If i jailbreak it this way and am able to get it to 4.3.3 will i then be able to save SHSH's for that 4.3.3 firmware and then use it to follow your other video? A: Open redsn0w and boot tethered, then go to cydia and search for "ultrasn0w" and install it. You may need to boot tethered after the install (if you get stuck at the apple then boot tethered with redsn0w).

2) How can I unlock my iPhone after this?
A: Open redsn0w and boot tethered, then go to cydia and search for "ultrasn0w" and install it. You may need to boot tethered after the install (if you get stuck at the apple then boot tethered with redsn0w).
I DID IT BUT IT'S NOT WORKING...!!! HELP

How am I supposed to know which video to follow when I can't find out the exact operating system my iPhone 3gs was running today before it "bricked"?!? I'm sure it's probably one of the last 2 updates, but it won't show that info in iTunes. Please help!

Thanks buddy its resolved my problem, now i am able to see the screen.
what i did, i update itune version to latest one, but after that this it got stuck with the apple logo. then it gave me the 1050 error, the phone says "connetct to itunes".
My Iphone was unloked, but right now i am not able to do any call, Its having 4.3.5 version, any suggestion how i can unlock it,
Any suggestion for it ?

6. Cannot access the cydia on the iphone because it's on a recovery mode and i cannot kick out from the recovery mode.
7. Cannot update the phone, error 1015
8. Cannot downgrade the phone, got error that said this phone is incompatible.
9. iTunes is at the newest version, version 10.1.2
10. I have tried redsn0w, pawnage, greenpois0n, and other methods on this forum.
Please help me solved this problem.

Okay, here is the condition I am experiencing:
1. no SHSH file on the iphone.
2. Cannot kick the phone out from the recovery mode.
3. Do not know what is the baseband of the iphone.
4. Do not know how did seller of this iphone unlocked the phone.
5. Do not know what is firmware version of the iphone used.

Hi all this happened to me again on my other phone (stupid ikr) but what i did this time was go to the apple store, i told them my phone switched off during the update and they were kind enough to restore it for me!!

Hi, i've tried your two video's. My phone is still bricked. I believe the software was 4.3.1 before i tried to restore the iphone 3gs to send back to insurance for non related fault. After following your previous video i got the 6000 ms message and after trying this video the slide bar doesn't come up at the end like yours. Any ideas please ? Forgot to mention i'm on vista and instuctions can't be followed on changing settings on desktop properties etc, the same as you show. Some options not ava
