good grief i havent remembered this in years my sister used to collect all the magazines....... i'll always remember pop goes the weasel ahahahahaha- and the blue evil foxes, and how everyone found a soulmate- and badger and mole were so sweet together- goodness gracious me!
@JosephKuD a fucking boot sale! i was in heaven!!! only like £5 for the lot!! AHH so chuffed. All on video tape tho. but that just ads to the nostalgia of terrible TV condition :)
@akathelazy1 It was done in the most tasteful way though, it was beautifully written and animated and acted out. It possibly was for a mature child, over the age of 8 perhaps, but it was educational and compared to today's children's programmes, its still by far one of the best children's programmes in my opinion.
This series was called "Beestenbos is Boos" (Animal Forest is Angry) in the Netherlands. I think I watched it on Ketnet though, a Belgian TV station :P
The Dutch/Flemish version of this series is an absolute CLASSIC for at least 2 generations of Belgian kids now. It was never released in the Netherlands from what I can remember, but it was a huge hit over here and is still getting reruns to this very day. This show just had everything: love, drama, humor... and of course a great intro theme, as can be seen here :) I'd love you just mostly stick to the European stuff mate, it's so nostalgic for us :)
It was published in Belgium by the BRTN (Belgische Radio en Televisie Nationaal - Belgian Radio and Television National) on their second TV station, then called TV2 (now a double station: Ketnet for the kiddies and Canvas for arts, culture and science). Just in case u wanna add that to the vid description :)

This had to be one of the most violent child orientated shows when I was little.
Baby mice getting speared onto thorns, foxes killing each other and getting shoot, hedgehogs getting run over......Etc.
Still an awesome cartoon though : )

@GraceUnderPressure1 I loved this show when I was little. Didn't like it when the baby mice got killed though :(
"Showed life how it was" is probably the best way to put it. Now the kids have [gulp] In The Night Garden.

@akathelazy1 lol, it really didn't hold back did it? It told me when I was young that Mother Nature is pretty harsh, hehe.

Thanks, will add that to the info - with you credited as the source of course.
Glad to see it's the series is still going strong somewhere.
More European stuff to come of course, as well as stuff from, elsewhere.
