Hey Mike! Kudos for doing that song at an open mic! I thought you captured the spirit pretty well. You actually sing it a lot better than I do for sure. 5*****
I must say, it's not your best effort. I do like your vocals, but this one was sub-par, I'm afraid. The guitar and harp work were solid though, as usual. -Rob
I don't recognize the title but the tune sounds familiar. I certainly hadn't heard it enough to know it in and out. I did read my other comments and you're right, it is close to what I said before. Makes me wonder then. Is it supposed to sound like that?
I'm not trying to knock you. I like your stuff. Just being honest, as I hope everyone is with me.
Thats OK man! I appreciate it. The original song is from the Tonights The Night album. Neil and his band were very drunk during this album. Neil tries to sing the lines "railroad track" up high, which he doesn't even come to close to hitting. I've always loved that track and album. I try to play it like Neil. So maybe I'm doing a great job ;)
If you really want your ears to bleed check out my oldest version of this song. it's way back in some of my first videos. its more like the original
great stuff Mike! probably one of my favorites off of "Tonight's The Night"
