Do you still have this gun? I have one of my own, and just cleaned it recently and noticed the roller cam retaining pin was very loose and I noticed that the barrel moved slightly back towards the hammer when cocking, havnt had time to shoot recently and i'm wondering if it's always done that and I just havent noticed it.
Like I say talk about the unique design on the slide - the ball rollers was a concept first practically used by the Germans on the MG42 and that gun weapon is still used to this day as the MG3
Im not trying to start a pecking contest, I love your videos, but the overuse of the word "weapon" is not helping the shooting community. I understand its classified as a weapon, but i only consider a firearm a weapon when it falls in the hand of a criminal. I carry everyday, not a weapon, but a sidearm. that sidearm is used to dispatch those who have weapons and intend on doing harm. We dont need anti-gun rights wack jobs thinking good, honest armed citizens have weapons. great videos though!
only problem i have is a few jams that i believe are from a weak spring in the magazine. i ordered a new mag and firing pin from thesportsmansguide(dot)com i also polished the feed ramp. the pistol should be completely reliable when i get the parts.
What size houge slip on did you use im going on a shopping spree getting all the aftermarket things for it wood grips hardened steel firing pin extractor rollers slip on grip lanyard and the wolf 18.5 lbs spring what does the wolf spring help exactly
Tell your opinion, whether probably in CZ 52 to apply the cartridge Yugoslavia which had speed of 550 meters per second? Whether it will lead pistol breakages?
Listened to stories of familiar people that in a pistol tokarev shot reloaded cartridges with a sleeve completely filled with gunpowder, and a bullet 7,62 nagan (which heavier, than original 7,62*25). Pistol breakages wasn't.
I haven't found any convincing ballistics tests over the Internet. Can someone tell me if the 7.62 TOK is better than the 9mm para? Besides eastern bloc pistols tend to look way better than western 9 mills
God damnit, this makes me mad at my gun dealer. He doesnt have any makarov pistols, and i was gonna buy a bersa thunder because it is similar to a makarov, but then i decided on just getting a hipoint c9 instead and waiting for a genuine makarov. Would go perfectly with my mini14. Which is awesome, and has a pistol grip, is all black, and a folding telescopic stock, and accessory rails, and 2 20round mags. MMmmmmdmfrmakdfm Goin to go to the range this weekend.
Ive got a 1954 myself. Original grey finish with hogue universal grip sleeve. I love the pistol myself. my only problem is holsters. very hard if not impossible to find a good practical holster. the leather flap ones that it comes with are very impractical. id really like a tight leather holster that shows the outline of the gun. Ammo is hard to find BUT when you do find it, its very cheap. a box of 72 1980's yugo production ammo is gonna cost you about $8. modern winchester is about $17 for 50
@stratcat70 I got lucky and found mine at a gun show, which would be a good place to look aswell as online. If you find one be sure to replace the firing pin! The original pin was made of cast alloyed metal and is very brittle. New repro pins are cheap and made of solid milled steel, my repro pin was even redesigned with a spring to keep the front of the pin from bashing into the wall of the firing pin housing. This gun is very fun to shoot, and it sounds off like a cannon!
@stratcat70 i got my cz 52 with a holster, rubber grip, 350 rounds of ammo, 4 clips, and an ammo box for 200 dollars flat, out of the nickel newspaper. awesome gun, i have the same rubber grip on mine. mine was actually used in service, since it has rid stamped on it. this gun barks loud, and will send a round through just about anything. this is the loudest gun that i have ever fired. i love it, and i got such a bad ass deal on it.
RE: CZ 52; wouldn't a CZ 70 be a more practical choice? I own a RADOM P 64; would a Hogue or Pachmyr sleeve grip reduce the strong recoil the gun has? Let me know? Also have you ever handled a GRENDEL P12 380?
Beautiful gun! As always the Czechs make the best East Bloc firearms. The CZ52 easily out paces the Makarov, not to mention using a much higher-power round. Love to get my hands on one.
great review! i've been looking at cz52 for a while now. i bought a cz82, and it's great. but; i also like the cz52 caliber, and its a nice looking weapon. the cz52 seems to be similar to a m1 carbine round in a short action pistol. i want one! what is the best plase to get a cz52, internet site, or gunshop.
great gun, my neighbor has one, they were selling one at the gun shop for $175probablly would have got it instead of the hi point but i didnt have the money at the time, super cheap ammo too
I purchased mine for 299 dollars, but that included a little over 1000 rounds of milsurp 7.62x25mm ammo. I had to jump on the deal. Getting a pistol for a good price with lots of ammo to burn is always a nice thing to come across.

Hey is the slide catch on the gun visible when the slide is forward? I didn't see it in this video. Great looking gun, have wanted one for a while.

@clogspecialist Try any 1911 holsters and for the ammo try Sportsman guide, Centerfire Systems or Jand G.

Preferrably a gunshop because you can actually handle and inspect the firearm before you purchase.
