i work for renault and the 182 are absolutly amazing machines! very quick cars its not all about 1000BHP or 200mph and over its the sound the look and the engine bay ! the clio 182 exels all those prioritys and that exhaust sounds mint! im guessing K-tecracing 200core cat or decat, but having a cat is better coz with the 200 core k tec cat u only loose like 2hp than having no cat with the 200 core cat the car has roughly 190BHP amazing for a 2.0Litre 16 valve engine!
the clio's have always been down on power to say the Civic type-r and new golf gti, but no other car manufacturer, bar porsche, can make cars who make such good use of the power under the bonnet.
Name another car with 182bhp, or even under 200bhp (except the elise) that can hit 62 in 6.5 secs... you might think of one eventually, but the fact that you have to think is testament to how well renault did with the renaultsports
the renaultsport range is similar to how the porsche 911 has been for the past 2 decades (stop laughing you nuggets and hear me out...)
The porky 911 has always been made to wade into battle with other supercars usually at least 100bhp down on the competition, ie new C4S 355 bhp, compared at at least 480 in the new F430 etc...

Exhaust sounds awesome mate, definitely a good upgrade. Good driving on the whole except for several off the limited gear changes. Still saving my £ for the Trophy! Type R's are just too common and look boring and frog-eyed, the 197 has lost the essence of a hot hatch. 182 best hot hatch ever!
Quick motors those 182's, I would've gotten one second to my Civic Type R. You need to work on speeding up those gear changes though - pretty slow. Also it sounded like you came close to stalling the motor a couple of times when pulling away. You shouldn't be hitting the limiter like that constantly either, I think once in a while is okay but all the time is just caning the engine and Clio's aren't exactly known for their robustness.
FRS's are very nice. I did consider one as well as the Clio when I was last car shopping, but I loved the Civic. My mate had bought an RS just beforehand, which I liked, but found I just preferred the thrill of the high revving engine in the Civic.
The power in the RS is definitely more accessible than in the Civic, but once I learned to utilise my higher revs better I had a couple of races with my mate and there was really nothing in it all the way up to a ton, at which point I eased off.
Plonker... racing up out of a blind dip straddling the white line, and pulling out right in front of that Civic when he turned round. You need to tone it down a bit mate before your come unstuck, owning a 182 isn't about driving like a dick :P
i dont have the 182 any more mate i have a focus rs now as the clio was too highly strung and by the way i didnt pull out in front of the civic it was at least 200 metres away it was just the way the camera was it looked close

I LOVE the 182 cup, my dad has one, and i lost my license for a year because of this beautiful car. But what sucks is how they changed the stock exhaust, an original 182 cup has a whistle to it which many people first think is a turbo once they see the performance. Gorgeous car with performance and handling to match. Btw this guy really sucks at driving, slow gear changes and hits the rev limiter too much.
What have you done to the exhaust? Sounds real nice, im looking at the 182, but not the cup, want a little more comfort! Does the standar 182 have that same exhaust note? I do hope so!
Can't wait 2 get 1 not gun a b putting pathetic exhausts on it though just ruins a perfect car!
