  • its like camera projection in 3ds max

  • It would be cool, if you could get layers of 2D images or a set of coordinates of the 3D model...

  • Awesome!

I wonders what these haters said about Facebook when version 0.1 came out 5 years ago.

  • forget the hater's i think its cool

  • update your video becuase theres a new version out

  • This is cool, but it can generate visible 3D surfaces from only one camera location. Furthermore, why insisting on a single picture? You can easily take 10 or 20 pictures without undue burden. I accidentally discovered this company Visualsize that can construct all kinds of 3D models - partial or complete - using photographs collected from random locations around a 3D object. They can do faces too. The technology of Visualsize is really cool and I haven't seen anything like it.

  • ((( Acquainted With Islam ))) aslam-ahmd.blogspot ( DOT) com/

  • cheap attempt at 3d

  • not working :(

  • Pointless Even for robot's

    Robot's use 2 Cams

    to see stereoscopic

and thus calculate it to really accurate 3D

    (and faster)

    then this porky shit

  • can u save it as a 3d model such as 3ds?

  • @RobJohnB95 for this there is a new software now: Photosculpt. See my profile for more?

  • show mesh because it looks like simply few textured planes :/

  • agreed! it looks like piggy shit!

  • i' m agree

  • Cool!

It would be great to see this algoritm implemented in a mobile robot. Then it probably could navigate way better than earlier robots.

By the way. Is this technology used in the explorer robot from the CoSY-project?

  • @hgeithus You could use PTAM this software can see in 3d while using 1 camera.

Does anyone know software wherein I can convert multiple pictures into a 3d model for autocad or maya or something like that?

  • ok

anaother point on my list of things I've dreamed of, now where is my jetpack?!!!

  • I am curious so

  • i'm very interested to see this tech implemented into what you and i do and see on a daily basis. the 3d environment created when you pan in and out can be made flexible and navigatable (website down at the moment). please try pushing this tech forward. bravo.
