Ppl have no idea. i first heard this song in the 8th/9th grade, and it brought uncontrollable tears to my eyes. i come back almost a decade later only feel those same tears this song brings me.

Lauryn changed the game. She was the epitome of true talent when she dropped this CD. Her singing was outstanding and her rapping was untouchable then. To this day she still stands incomparable. I will never give up hope that she will make a strong comeback.

This song truly speaks to the soul! The first time I heard it, I was so touched by the truth behind its' lyrics, that I cried. A song that runs right to your heart. This is without a doubt the most beautiful song I've ever heard. And Lauryn Hill's voice is hands down, my favorite voice in the world. Her range is incredible and her tone is mesmerizing. Her runs in this song gives me chills! And what she does with her voice at 2:42 to 2:47 is just one of the reasons that I love her so much.
