I think he explains on the history channel interview that his handguns and shotguns are modified its practice and some trigger techniques, for example: bump firing a Semi-Auto AR to make it seem full auto! there is also a lot of trigger work to make the pull a lot smoother easier to pull off rounds that fast, have to be experience and careful could easily go off and shoot someone you don't intend!!!

@XxfuckthapolicexX i know the guy from the video. My dad has trained with him and other amazing gun handlers. Jerry use to drive to work and dry fire his revolver over and over. The reason they are modified is so the revolver can keep up with his finger. He shoots to fast for normal revolvers.

I think they have it just to do the shots per fraction of a second math 12rounds in 2.95 seconds = 2.99 / 12 = 1 round fired every .249 seconds. If he was setting records they were going for accurate time at least to the thousandth. If the video had been a fe seconds longer the judge would have probably broken it all down inot time per round fired..... and that was with a reload.... thats amazing speed dexterity and muscle memory... I bet he can do it in his sleep.
