  • Great job. Video quality is poor, but the sound is right on. I wanna learn this song and its awesome we have youtube to see others interpretations. Thank you from Indiana.

  • Lovely voice

  • Great song. Excellent singing. The title is almost identical to a song, I believe by Paul Peterson, from around 1960, called "Tell Laura I Love Her." And the first two lines of the chorus are the same, substituting Lori for Laura. But the theme is different and entirely original.

  • It's Ray Peterson.

  • nice try i guess.

My wife's name is Lori, so I thought it would be nice to add to my collection of songs. I think you did a great job with this song, thanks for sharing. • this is a great version of a great song. It can't be too easy to do a cover of any Keith w song. If i heard this on the radio I'd guess it was from an established, pro. very nice.

  • I am sorry for my first post, he does a great job! I'm just a hick who likes the orignal version that was done on old tape! Rock on man and I have learned much since my first post!!!

  • I'm a singer & little bit of a picker myself, and your timing was spot on. Don't know what that other guy was saying? What a jerk. You did a GREAT job!! KEEP POSTING!

Love & Light from Panama City, FL

  • great job!!! I Love Keith Whitley!!!!!!

  • Your timing was horrible and your tones were crap....Kieth did it with the T.V. Going in the background and it sounded great but u got a mic and tape and u sound like something at the VFW please don't post your crap again. Don't upset the dead!!!!!

  • You know Eric I checked your site and I don't see any videos of you singing, if you were such an expert where are your videos? Give the guy a break he puts his heart into it, and sounds pretty good :)

  • Your right I don't have any videos up of me singing. He did do a good job given the case. Nobody's gonna do it the way it was orginally done. But I enjoyed his version. I posted without thinking and I apolgize!

  • Nice Job.. I Like This song!:)

  • great job man.. you sound alot like john prine

  • i think you did a great job on this song, give yourself a pat on the back

  • When I think about how things played out for him and the content of this song, it makes me want to bawl.... Such a sad affair. Great song though.... I love Keith.

  • you still have good voice

  • You're playing it to fast to begin with. The other thing is you're way off on the lyrics.

  • GREAT JOB!!

  • tell everybody i bought you that shirt for christmas last year :)

  • I think you just did :|

  • Excellent, you captured the essence of Keith and gave it your own style.

  • Dude, i respect your effort on this song but please, your overstressing and slurring and dragging out of some words, especially HER, OK, and a few others are muderous. but like i said i respect your attempt, this is one of Keiths greatest songs.

  • Wow, that was really good. Wonderful rendition.

  • Very nice.

  • Beautiful song and beautifully done...I am such a sap and cried the whole way through...knowing what happened to him
