the government wants to save you from the evels of smoking. this is a joke with all the people the government kills. now for the fema camps . if they think the people are going to march into the ovens they are mistakin there's paople and sheeple. people will fight. im smoking and im gona smoke as long as i please. what enjoy the most these days is my obama toilet paper.
@77sporty, This is what makes our country a Democracy and not a dictatorship. Creating the freedom to live as you chose is a more rewarded life than just scraping by on the Gov's dime and promises. I know I'm not falling for false promises (again) just like I won't listen to what they tell the media to put out there as a means of distracting us. It's gotta go.
How bad does it have to get before the American people stand up and say enough is enough! You are being stripped of your God given rights and your constitutional rights, because if you as a nation don't get mad and do something quick it will be far to late and you will wind up in a camp because if you speak against government policy you will be labelled a terrorist or enemy combatant. You first have to actually BE the home of the BRAVE before you can ever TRULY be in the land of the FREE! ACT!
You're right! That's why I made this video. I'm hoping enough people will also make videos and speak up against what our government is doing now - and maybe, just maybe create and sign an iPetition to send to all of our local congressmen. The problem herein does lie with us and I'm hoping that changes and we start to take action now!
It's true that Obama's politics are about social interest and it makes me wonder about his "religious affiliation". Why should I care about his religious background and how that plays into politics? Aren't we supposed to not have to discriminate against others because of their religion, sexual orientation, disability, etc?!?! The scrutiny Obama is under right now is happening, because he's putting his own needs ahead of ours.
All of these things that are listed in a job contract and under employment laws as well as federal laws are being compromised right now. You are right about that. Once you place too much emphasis on personal interest and what makes us different, it causes an uneasy atmosphere, way of life, and it even creates a big gap in our communication, because we're too afraid to say anything about how we really feel.
...That's just our freedom of speech (without harassment or defamation of character) being jeapordized. Now our right to make personal decisions is being taken away from us.
Yeah, I'm surprised no one is attacking video games at this point. I know parents are though, but that's more personal and not political just as smoking is. So, you do have a good question there.
jen, i have researched this and can't find a whiff of truth about this probation on smoking. The FEMA Camp scare is completely untrue. The FEMA Camp conspiracy has been going for decades... the photo evidence of the camps has been debunked many many times. Don't get worked up or help spread this untruth.
If the conspiracy has been going on for decades, wouldn't it make you think our government has been developing something like this behind our backs without us knowing?
Not at all Jen. It's complete and utter BS. Popular mechanics has a great article debunking the current myth. it's on their website under technology / military law enforcement.
The biggest effort by the White House has been to take the words "Low Tar" and "Mild" of of cigarette labeling, because it's misleading. There are no healthy cigarettes.
Stories about them coming to take your stuff away are pushed out by corporate lobbyist to spoke the public and increase their sales. Don't be duped
That's great! It's good that you are aspiring to do something that can help the medical field. I'm not against the medical field, medical students, or people who don't smoke. My whole point is, the Government should not control yet another choice we have against our consent. That's all I'm trying to get across.
Cloves are the only cigarettes I touch whenever i wanna pose with one in my lip, but I'm okay with them being banned. The industry admits that cloves and candy-flavored cigs are only made to attract teen smokers, and 90% of smokers start in their teens. I'm all for freedom, but corporations will railroad people into doing stupid things under the guise of free will. Makes it easy for their lobbyist to claim the govt is taking away your freedom when they get regulated into doing what's right.
You do have a good argument there. I'm not saying that the lobbyists and Phillip Morris are right for targeting teens. That should have been stopped a long time ago, but if you're a hard working, tax paying adult with the right to choose what you do, the gov and the lobbyists shouldn't poke their noses into it. Obama did also admit that he works with lobbyists. Does this also justify what he's doing? I honestly think it doesn't.
I think some things in this country are way overdue. I believe adults should be able to choose to smoke whatever tobacco they like, and certainly they can still buy clove and flavored tobaccos in cigars and for pipes. Just the easily handled cig version will be gone. I doubt Obama personally has much time to devote to this issue, but I'm happy that the HHS is taking the job seriously after so many administrations that only took kickbacks to deregulate everything.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm studying in medicine at the moment, so anything anti-cigarettes is amazing IMO. Sorry?
