@ZeusDeusEx Speaking as a dance teacher the sport of pole dancing seems to me to be like gymnastics with a third dimension. Watching a good pole dancer is no more "erotic" than watching a gymnast do their floor routine.

As a sport it attracts an audience that appreciates the effort and skill shown in the performance. Watch as the ladies move from foot to foot around the pole. It's done with elegance, precision and a beautiful fluidity of movement. Most people can't walk that smoothly.

We tend to see what we know. I'll fully grant that many males who watch pole dancing see only something sexy. I see poise, balance and movement that combine together in a fluid motion to a sensual effect. It's kind of funny, you get so caught up in watching the technical part that you forget you're watching a beautiful woman.

It doesn't matter what body type u have! anyone 90lbs-300 lbs can pole dance.I am a dance instructor and we have classes for women of all sizes and all ages 19+.no matter what ur body type u will gain upper body strength lose weight and tone.You should def look into classes near u!

@jamiesandberg54 Pole dancing is very hard for two or more people to dance exactly together. It all comes down to strength and momentum. Give pole dancing a try. It's harder than you think and very tiring after a couple spins/ lifts.
