Correct me if I am wrong, but based on the time stamps and the diameter of the sun (870000 miles), the object's energy (or the object) traversed the diameter of the sun in approx 108 min. So (870000 miles / 108 min) 60 min/hr = 483,333.333333333 mph. That seems pretty fast to me, even if it is 0.0721% of the speed of light.

just read not too long ago that the comet's tail is a phenomena due to the solar radiation & winds. as a comet heads towards the sun the tail is behind it, & as it moves away from the sun the tail is then is in front of it (being blown by solar wind & radiation)

Agreed -- Largest CME I've seen to date.

After considering the approach and possibilities, this Comet is approaching from the back side of the Sun (in my opinion).

Question: Was this Comet tracked by NASA?

Do CME's have a rating similar to Flares M & X?

NASA might have a policy of Delaying Live Feeds.

IF this Comet struck on our side of the Sun, the release of Solar Ejected Matter would almost definitely caused an EMP of enormous proportion and may have brought down the GRID...
