I think someone should tell Jimmy that NCIS is the most popular scripted show on television. Lost and many other shows are better but it has a smaller fan base even though the viewers are way more obsessed.

Seems this interview was for Jimmy himself. He was trying to figure things out for himself rather than for the fans.

1) Jimmy concentrated on secrets & answers when he could have asked them a 100 other qs - how the actors played the chars, what inspired the writers to create LOST in the 1st place, anything weird going on set, how much actors really contributed to the char *sigh* Anyway, Jimmy just wasted our fucking time.

2) Emilie De Ravin didn't speak a word. Others spoke a few sentences.

I'm surprised that Jimmy Kimmel did such a terrible job of hosting it. He obviously wasn't that prepared, which was shown by the majority of his questions which unfortunately only the producers would be able to answer/avoid answering.

As much as I love the producers - they are not the people we see on screen. We've formed a relationship with the actors/characters and when they're in a public setting like this, THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TALK. It's not like there was a time issue. Damon/Carlton/JJ didn't have anything impressive to add after a while. Why not let the actors talk? At the very least there should've been questions prepared for each 1 of 'em. Must've been hella boring just sitting there for hours.

Okay well...that was interesting and everything, but Daniel Dae Kim and Emilie de Ravin could've been at home learning their scripts or something, because they didn't say a single thing. Okay maybe Daniel said a couple of words, but still. I've been in enough pointless, boring situations to know how much it sucks. They should've made sure everyone got to talk. Or...not forced them to come and then blanked them the entire evening.

Jimmy definitely should've prepped questions for every cast member, if only to balance out the event and make everyone feel more welcome. He's awesome though, and I'm glad they got such an obsessed Lost fan to host this thing as opposed to someone who knows nothing about the show. I could listen to Damon and Carlton talk 24/7.

They should do their own spin-off sitcom.

I do agree, I wanted more stories from the set, tidbits about the people that they claim "make" the show what it is. They have such a fabulous cast and yet we still don't really know anything about them, let alone what they add to the LOST phenomenon.

I for one wanted to hear some Dom and Josh stories. And hearing Daniel speak English is so much fun after hearing Korean on the show.
