wonderful footage! may I suggest applying a thin piece of sponge on the camera microphone, that will prevent the noise of air ramming in.

It did have tape on microphone. However, I desoldered the microphone from the camera and added extension to place inside glider. It makes for some quiet but unusual sounds. Thanks.

Great work! I've been playing around putting my flip mino on my 450 sized heli. I've got some vids up. Might pay to put a bit of tape over your mic to quieten down the wind noise. Other than that - great vid! Well done. Saw how little wind you had there and wondered how you were going to fly that thing, let alone DS it! Good job.

@wigitinnz I used Dx6i with Ar6200 on one helicopter, and an AR6110e on another heli. You will love the Dx6i! You won't regret it. When I get another foamy slope soarer I'll get another AR6110 and use that. You can use the Dx6i to mix if you have an elevon model (like I have), so no need for additional mixer on your plane.

that's normandy dam, my favorite fishing spot in middle tennessee besides the cumberland, my favorite fishing spots of all are the tennessee river and mississippii river, oh and great flying, I crashed mine the first time I flew it

It is Dynamic Soaring at the times specified in my post below. Otherwise just normal slope soaring. This was a test to see if it could be done on such a small slope. The wind was barely enough to stay up on upwind side, about 6 to 10 mph.

I agree wity enginetorque. This is closer to slope soaring. In true dynamic soaring an albatros will use wind gradient over ocean rollers to cover vast distances of the southern ocean. Ref :- New Soaring Pilot. Auth Lorne and Welch.

Really sweet! I love how with the camera mounted to the glider you can see the horizon tilted 90 degrees throughout the entire flight path!

It has some Dynamic Soaring! With only 5 knots of wind, radar'd at about 80mph on downwind side on dam with chunky camera outside plane, 90 degrees of bank, multiple laps? See 1:55-2:30, 3:20-3:27, 4:43-5:07. That is DS on small hill. No record attempts here.

It just goes to show you dont need a big hill to dynamic soar .i had a go with a prodij 60 inch

at exactly 3:04 stop . I managed to be "in field of view " , managed a few lame attempts but too low , too tight for me . Both of these craft are epsilon's 60 inch span
