It is no accident that many police, city attorneys, & judges have better pay, benefits, and a better retirement plan than most other Americans. It is a deliberate attempt to divide and separate them from normal Americans, and thus, make them more pliable to do the bidding of government. We need to start taking authority away from these people because if the economy continues to falter and more Americans start to object, these government employees are going to protect the status quo.
@boballende Government employees don't control the economy. On average government employees are paid less than the private sector citizens with similar education. Look at the pay of your local deputy district attorney. Probably less than $50,000. To say they aren't "normal" Americans is absurd. We need to start taking authority away from these people because if the economy continues to falter and more Americans start to object, these government employees are going to protect the status quo.

@boballende Government employees don't control the economy. On average government employees are paid less than the private sector citizens with similar education. Look at the pay of your local deputy district attorney. Probably less than $50,000. To say they aren't "normal" Americans is absurd. I doubt Ron Paul would say our local city/county governments have too much power. I believe he would say the federal government is gaining too much power.
