@KnowsTheDrill1984 --- haha... um, I can kinda relate. I mean, he's a musician, an artist, speaks at least two languages, teaches Persian with patience. God know what other talents he has!
Thank you very much for these wonderful instructional videos. They are great. I have always wanted to learn 3-Tar and this is a great way to start. Where do you live, if I may ask? If in Seattle, WA I would like to take classes with you... Again Thank you very much. Merci.
i have to ask a strange question in regards to the right hand on a problem i've had since i began playing setar in my early teens
when i play, my hand moves up from the sound board position to the dip in the body over the holes and my anchor finger just hangs right on the edge. not sure if i described that clearly, but i tried. i guess what i'm asking is do you have any suggestions to fix it? two teachers down and all they've done is put my hand back mid-playing to "correct" it. help lotfan? :)
I don't know how I became the prophet of setar teaching here. I have never taught anyone, I am not good at it (playing or teaching) and put up the initial videos for a few friends.
I would never insult you by calling you a prophet. Prophets do things for profit. You do what you do without any expectation and that is very valuable and admirable. Cheers & Happy New Year.

Forgive my brash delivery, but I am strangely attracted to him despite having no idea who he is or how he even looks.
