Hey! I saw them play at the Bean Kurd Festival in a huge stadium somewhere in China. I sat with all these sleeping party people next to the coach of the Chinese National Volleyball Team that won at the Olympics. She autographed my ticket to the event. Can anyone tell me the name of that city where the Bean Kurd Festival is?
I'm European, I like funk, I should be thinking this is really robotic elevator music, shallow, cynical, cultural prostitution organized by the rich men that control these things . But I'm not. Why does this music make me cry? I think its because in it I hear enormous, enormous pain and adaptive growth and willingness to join hands with the rest of the world.
