What memories the sound of that idling radial brings back to me. A man named John Garnand owned a Stearman on the airport that my Father flew out of in Texas. One day out of the clear blue sky, no pun intended, my Dad came up to me in the lobby of the flight service my Mother owned and asked me if I wanted to fly in John's Stearman. My Father really trusted the man's abilities and aircraft to have made that offer to me. My Dad hand propped the huge radial and it sounded just as this one did! TY!
Do you own this stearman, or does some rellative or friend. if you do i would like to ask you when you think your going to sell it, im very interested
