Do you have a job with 3ds max? I really liked your video and I was wanting to know how well of a job i could get by getting good at this... Thankyou!
@troy2062 Hi, I have a few things that I don't understand and cannot find anywhere. When do the events actually get called? Is the event attached to Render 001 (Geometry) called once per frame for all particles? Once a particle has tested true to something, does it stay in the new event for the rest of the animation, or does it go back to the original event the next frame? (I am a programmer, so possibly the reason I am having such trouble figuring this I'm thinking the wrong way?) Thanks!
if only I still had 3ds max troy, if only I still had it. And also. how do you render your videos for this quality and the fact that it lets you change your quality (360p - 720p 1080p), I render using vegas pro and it doesn't do anything! infact, I'm getting off topic, I'll ask you through the next BTV session. Great tutorial troy, If I ever get 3ds again I'll be sure to try this out!
Really good. Thank you very much.

@cullisom
This video was unscripted, so I had to rely on improvisation. Many retakes. :P

@troy2062 Is there anyway to, following this example, make them change back to white when they are no longer colliding?
TheYoshieMaster 3 months ago
@TheYoshieMaster
I do not have 3DS Max available immediately to test this, however you should be able to accomplish it via the following sequence:
Collision Test (If true, next event) > Set green color + Collision Test (If false, next event) > Set white color
It seems quite logical, however it may or may not require a bit of creativity. :)

@troy2062 I can't find a False setting, or any way to invert. Do I need to use Groups?
