Not especially rich. Actually, if you look at the Raphael's website, you will see that that particular room is one of its most modest. I suspect that I was twice given that more modest room because I booked at a discount and was paying less than 1/2 the normal rate. I suspect that particular room was also used for the movie because the name of the film was not "Hotel Raphael" and the hotel was probably concerned about the damage that the film crew would do.

@dreadnegast13 The first part is initially the main feature 'The Darjeeling Limited' but the director Wes Anderson explained that he thought the second part helped people understand the feature better but he only realised after the release so he decided to play this before the feature on the DVD. It can work as either part one or two, it's all down to how the viewer percieves the story and how it interconnects.
