gay or not it really does not matter D: you can't prove that he was gay or that he wasn't gay... afterall he is dead, no matter how many 'historian' say that he is or he isn't you just can never tell for sure. its easy to hide your sexually.
There was a homosexual king of scotland who had a lesbian wife so he can keep his king status. Again, it does not matter what he was, the only thing that matter is what he did for the country in his life.
This whole conversation stupid. Back then they had a word for gay people, they called them sodomites, and being gay was a capital offense. People were not openly gay, they couldn't be. George Washington was not gay. He had a wife and he acted very heterosexual. He had very many lady friends, as they were called back then. This lady is wacked. She uses no facts to back up her claims and the assumptions she uses is idiotic. I hate this kind of stupid shit.
That's the response people often get when they speculate on historical figures' sexual orientation "They think everyone is gay" it's annoying. Washington COULD have been gay-ish but it is unlikely and of course unproveable. He and Lafayette had chemistry at least.
We all know Buchanan was as queen as could be.
Lincoln, also gay-ish. TOTALLY had chemistry with Joshua Speed.
And that's as far as my speculation goes :) DON'T FLAME (LOL)
We know now that many of our founding fathers were gay -- Washington, Hamilton and Lincoln, just to mention a few. Homosexuality was practiced more in those days than it is now. There were plenty of sailors, frontiersmen, and cowboys who were openly gay. They just did their thing with each other and didn't talk about it. Those early settlers who were not gay choose instead to get it on with sheep, goats and small calfs. Women did not come to America until later. Don't you people read anything!

If you engage in homosexual acts, you are indeed a homosexual, gay, or what ever!

If your fucking insane you might believe that. But you would have to be fucking insane to believe George Washington was gay.
