Thanks for posting... this is the closest most of us will ever get to seeing a Buchla synth.

Interesting. I always thought they used an ARP 2500, but those came a lot later. After hearing this synth, it makes me think they used one of these, especially since it fits the time frame. Thanks for the reply!

Considering when the original Star Trek aired, it does raise the question what was used.
This machine was available during some of those years.
