Why does everyone say that. Sure Warhammer had a table top game and was around forever, but WoW had an MMO years before they concieved theirs. Table top games and a playable MMO are two very different things.

Yes, but I have some nice information. WoW copied alot of Warhammer's Lore...Green orcs... dark skinned elves... and orginally, WoW was supposed to be a Warhammer game, MMO or some other genre, I do not know, but Games Workshop turned them down, and pretty much like a pissed off little kid, tried to make something better off their lore, but without actually using any actual copyrighted names and other things.

A number of WoW's devs were part of one of the top guilds in Everquest 1, it only makes sense WoW built on Everquest.

Also, I believe I heard that Warhammer Online was originally planned for 2004 (same as WoW), but was (presumably) shuffled around until it finally found its home: Mythic Entertainment.

and 80 ranks, wich you can get in rvr, that means you can be level 30 with a lvl 40 rank or something like that.

You can configure the UI how you want it. Start out with 1 bar of 12 slots, can expand to 4 for 48 slots total.

Yea, theres public quests which are like instances because you do it with a few people and get rewarded at the end of it. I prefer the PQ's to WoW style instances imo

Horrible underpowered class. Their so-called nukes are about as threatening as water balloons, and even a bright wizards DoT's do more damage than a Magus's DoT's, even though the Magus a DoT class. At least the disc looks pretty cool.

yah, they tried too hard making this class cool. he's not that great to be honest. Dark Elf sorcerers are SOOOOOO much better. seriously. i was doing lvl 10 magus damage at a lvl 4 sorcerer. it's one of those mage classes where you use the same spell until you are like 15(flickering red fire.) and i thought the disk would be neat, but if anything it's slower!!! haha. personally i think this is the worst mage class, but it was a good try.

Magus is a defensive spellcaster, meaning they are good at watching flags with summons rather than nuking enemies with an offensive push. Granted, they have aoes and debuffs and stuff, but magus along with engineers can make it hell to capture a flag in scenarios or putting long ranged pressure on healers, things of this nature.

well in a way yah. if you are by yourself you need to be careful with your spells because ultimately you will die. but in RvR you usually have a healer and dont need to worry about dark magic backlashing.

well the best thing to do is find out what u want to do end game. either tank dps or heal.

then u best off looking at the armour ull be getting but i find playing a class which has a nice armour makes it more fun and makes it more enjoyable as a whole.

then i would say think what is your strengths. if u played wow or anyother you probbs know what ur good and nor good at.

just sum tips lol :P but i know how u feel i want black orc goblin shamman marauder and magus.

Bro! Im having the same problem! All the Chaos army is epic, but I think Im going to stick with the magus. They arnt very popular it seems so it should be fun showing off the high lvl armour and they have wicked spells. There is this one spell that does like a shockwave bubble attack! it looks epic!

well the magus isnt much like a mage u dont get water or anything but its just mainly for dps but u can get pets but they dont move and for marauder they r just the fast attacking duel weilder who morphs his arm into a sword and a mace and stuff they r really good too they are both kinda same in dmg so i dont really know it depends if u want range be magus and if u want melee be marauder if it helps

every1 has action points that regenerate fast out of combat, slower in combat, some classes need specific things like the shammy needs WAGHHH for better spells

there is no mana or rage, everyone has a little bar called action points its yellow underneath the health bar, every time you use an action the bar decreases a little , it is possible to run out of action points, in that case you cant use any attacks, but in a matter of seconds the bar is completely full once again and you can continue fighting

from what I've seen (which, admittedly isn't all that much), this game seems to play VERY similarly to WoW in terms of pacing, character development and required skill vs knowledge. obviously I can't say for sure, but this game really does look like a simple update of WoW with a more complete PvP system. which isn't a bad thing, really, it's just nothing mind-blowing.

The Disc of Tzeencth is a Daemon of the Chaos God Tzeencth, the god of change. The Disc is given to his champions as a mount which they stand upon. Most champions of Tzeencth are masters in using magic, and the disc further enchants their abilities.

Well, in the game only Magus rides the Disk. Other chaos classes get daemon steed (a demon horse) for a mount. The Magus later on gets an ability to change the disk into a faster form, but they won't be able to fight when the disk is in the faster form. Lorewise every chaos god have their own special mount which they can gift to their champions. On top of this champions may ride other mounts like horses, daemon steeds or even 2 headed chaos dragons.

In the game however, Chaos Marauder, Chosen and Zealot get a Daemonic Steed for a mount while the Magus gets a faster disk, as I said before.
