Just for thought......The gas pressure settings on the gas valve for propane is much higher than natural gas ..Those spec should be on the unit decal.You will need a manometer for the w.c.( water column) setting.You might have to make some adjustments on the inlet and outlet port!!!

I think you're your right Ron. Just a good idea to check the orifices for rust blockage when doing your yearly cleaning also.
