okay... to clarify for people

1- its sped up so much because if you put in the actual BPM (Beats per minute) you can only put in quarter notes the fast speed allows you to make real music.

2- this is mario paint composer not an emulator of the original mario paint snes game it allows faster tempos, different soundfonts, and more variety.

3- yes there is totally a whole youtube community built on fake videos that take 10+ hours to make easy

I gotta admit though I'm not a massive fan of soundfonts. The fun challenge with Mario Paint Composer in my opinion is trying to make something with the sounds you're given. Otherwise it's just a midi file when all's said and done.

if you listen you can detect basic mario type sound from mario paint

its all about not sucking dick at mario paint if you want to do this, if you are going on a mario paint page you probably would like to play mario paint for a reasonable time allowing you to realize just how you develop into this level eventually

You can turn it into a one shot kill situation. If you turn up enemy health, reaction speed and damage to max, they'll kill you as soon as they know you're there. No joke. It took an large amount of skill and even more planning to beat stages that way, even with All Weapons on, which was necessary. I'm still proud of the fact that I completed Frigate and Facility that way. Only once a piece, though. It's brutal and extremely fun, so I recommend it.

Ah, that part with the stars was perfect. It took forever to try to emulate that little jingle. I was using stars at one point, but I couldn't replicate the sound well enough. I just replaced it with a hi-hat strike in my version. XD
