is it me or does the begining sound exact like the begining of "The Good The Bad The Ugly - Kanye West"............ maybe same producer... and it like his signature or sumtn
@GuerilliaFarmer It's a Al Green Sample the song is called "I wish you were here" the first use was on Wu Tang clan meets the Indie culture album in 2005 "Verses" so Kanye didn't sample it first just sayin and the Quence track good, bad, the ugly was sick.
@skillkraft true..... the good bad ugly is dope.... but nuttin compared to the Wu..... and wu-tang obv sampled it first i couldnt see the Wu copyin other artists...
@GuerilliaFarmer No doubt I would take Wu over anything, people ain't feelin Rza's new style of production but I like it, it takes time to get used to it but you can't stay the same all the time and I think so many producers have bit the Wu sound that it has become more of a reason for the RZA to try new sounds creativity and originality is always what set the Wu apart from all other artist. It's just a matter of time before his new style gets bitten. Chamber music was done by a live band.
GK is insane. This is one of those hit you on a deeper level songs. I love the live drums, you almost hear the slight imperfections to give it authenticity.
How is this a Michael Jackson tribute? Unless you mean it as your tribute to him, that can't be. Because this album came out before he died.. so it wouldn't make sense that it was a tribute to MJ. Not trying to start any arguements, just confused me is all.
i thought ghostface was part of wu tang clan, why does it say featuring

Much better than "Baby" with Raheem Devaughn. But only cause there's no Autotune on this here. Souled out rap for real... love it.

this beat was also used in "verses" by La The Darkman, Shallah, Ras Kass,GZA off the 'think differently music' album. theyre both sick!
triple6mafia187 2 years ago
Nas used it also for "Shootouts" on It Was Written.
Al Green is still killing it, far as I can see... still gets sampled...
