  • I can't see the [expletive deleted] thing," said RAAF Squadron Leader Stephen Chappell, exchange F-15 pilot in the 65th Aggressor Squadron. "It won't let me put a weapons system on it, even when I can see it visually through the canopy. [Flying against the F-22] annoys the hell out of me."

  • думаю у нас пока нет таких двигателей как у ф22, в этом мы отстаем.

  • самолет отличный, но дорогой.

  • If only Newton was still alive to his laws are being broken

  • do you think these russian keyboard warriors would be saying something a lot different if it was their country that made the f-22? Its just jealousy

  • @bna0001 youd be surprised but lots of the Russian comments are marveling the aircraft, the only criticism iv read is that this aircraft is too expensive. Its mostly anti-western westerners who irrationally criticize this aircraft & basically everything the west has/is. Their brainwashed & ungrateful of what they have as citizens.

  • AWESOME It can make its own smoke screen.

  • @82ndairborne100 ...... what?

  • @IntronDepot1 How when it hovered there was a big cloud of stuff in the air.

  • @82ndairborne100 Dew point? condesation

  • @15Qabbey umm, I don't know what your talking about. Never said dew point or condensation.

  • @82ndairborne100 You said "how does it make the smoke"... Dew point....... makes condensation aka clouds..... i was answering your question high speed

  • @15Qabbey I didn't say "How does it make the smoke" It must have been someone commenting off of my comment that said, "Wow, It can make its own smoke screen!"

  • WITCHCRAFT!!!

  • and whats even more beautiful is that the F-22 is an international ( alright, N.A.T.O) effort. no one country can produce these, it takes several including Britain, America and Italy, too make these.

  • this reminds me of F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 F8 F9.

  • @TheMortalWorld dont forget the F13 button lol

  • 7 F-15s vs 1 F-22 Raptor in a dog fight= 7 wins for the Raptor

  • @PureHeavenlySultan The correct term for that is Monkey Models

  • thats criss angels F-22 :D

  • a great fighter of the U S

  • The F15 is still a good plane, now that it has a stealthy version, the F15SA it will still be one of the greatest planes, unfortunately the stealth isn't the best.

  • 216 is the highlight

  • @TheDuvalMillitia well red flag is purpose built to simulate real combat in almost every way. Also the f-22 is one of if not the cheapest aircraft to maintain and has a higher readiness percentage than any of our aircraft.

  • @copilot7777 "Israelis lost 180 American made airplanes in 1973 war"

4 F-4 phantoms shot down in that war compared to 300 Mig17,19,21 and Su-7's shot down in air to air combat.

  • @390bullitt1968 "Currently the usaf do not have any jet superior to the Sukhoi PAK FA T-50"

Russia does not "have" the PAK FA .... it is merely a prototype, not even fitted with radar. In any event, the PAK FA is inferior anyway. Stealth is life, and just the IRST ball on the PAK FA has an RCS larger than the entire F-22.

  • @FXWorldBeater These kids still going on about the PAK-FA?

I respect Russian military and especially aviation, so I'm not being at all biased when I say the PAK-FA is not very impressive. Perhaps because it's not even close to being finished, but in it's current configuration it just doesn't live up to the great expectations everyone has for it.

  • 344 pilots of the T-50 and J-20 got their ass fucked up by the supermanuverability of this badass SOB the F-22!!!!

  • obviously, just like the US legend itself, the F-15!!!!!!!!

  • I bet it was awesome from the ground, to see a jet pointed strait up and floating there.

  • what does that have to do with the f-22?

  • 2 syllables..."BAD-ASS"!

  • The end of production of the F22 marked the end of US power... Regrettable... Americans are not saints, but Russians, Indians and Chinese are not better...

  • Gravity

    u jelly?

  • RAF Eurofighter and USAF F-22 together makes the best fighters in the world. fuck the PAK FA only 3 have ever been built while nearly 200 F-22 have been build. besides US?UK has always been at least 20 years technologically avdvanced than russia and guess what thats not gonna change. US/UK will always dominate those commie bastards (China/Russia)

  • This planes is so cool, even chuck norris is a little frightened.

  • @skateboy159 lol dang thats funny---the air show thing. and everybody says the su27 is better than the f15...but i dont see the flanker with a 105-0 record:)

  • F35 smesh35 THIS is what we need to be spending money on.

  • i work on these.

  • amazing!

  • just like the F15 dominated the air the F22 will own it

  • Chuck Norris' carrier pigeon.

  • Amusing, the know-nothings here who think Russian junk (Mig29, SU27, SU35, PAK-FA) can compete with F-22. Any of these turkeys would be raped by the Raptor, 5 or 6 at a time

  • F-22 - VTOL class?

  • These are the kind of things that makes me want to pay my taxes :p

  • this aircraft costs $18,000 an hour to operate. that means this video cost at least $2,190 to make (at 7:18 long).

  • @mechriswalker "this aircraft costs $18,000 an hour to operate" wow, that's pretty cheap as far as aircraft go... the F-15C costs $32,000 per hour ... the Mig-29's in Russia cost $160,000 per flight hour to operate.

  • @Pugzilla69 "MiG-29 costs ~$5500 per hour"

Tell that to the Malaysians who are ditching them because they cost USD $5 million per year to maintain per aircraft.

Despite all your "stats" on F-22's maintainability, it still managed to break the USAF record for number of sorties in a day... go figure eh?

    tinyur l. com/f22sortyrate

Amazing in theory, absolutely astounding in practice. Oh by the way, the Russian and Indian mig-29's just came off a longer grounding than the F-22

  • @Pugzilla69 umm did you have trouble reading the article? It did say it was a fighter squadron record .... you do know the A-10 is not a fighter right and isn't in the same class as far as performance and stresses put on the airframe and engines?

Despite all criticism, the F-22 remains the best fighter ever built and as part of an air defence/attack system is capable of defeating anything in the world today with greater than a 15:1 exchange ratio.

  • @Pugzilla69 "It's only the best at BVR combat"

Not according to the F-16 pilots I've spoken to. They said Red Flag vs F-22's is boring as shit when they are at BVR because you don't see anything, you just get the radio calls saying your dead.

But they said when the F-22's run out of missiles and are told to engage WVR, it makes you cry to see how fast they turn and how well they retain energy compared to anything they've seen.

  • @Pugzilla69 "something which isn't nearly as useful in the real world because the targets must be ID'ed."

Lol, believed every word of Pierre Sprey's "need to be in visual range to engage" video did you... LOL.

Its total trash and every fighter pilot I've spoken to thought it was Pierre trying to joke. The main feature that categorizes a jet as 4th generation is BVR ability. Most enemy jets can be identified merely by their radar and radio signatures .. your quote is plain wrong

  • @Pugzilla69 "Those kill ratios were achieved because the F-22 pilots could fire at will without worrying about killing friendlies since it was an exercise"

No they were acheived because the thing can't be seen at any useful range and can get itself into the perfect firing position. A pilot I spoke to was embarrassed because he allowed an F-22 to get behind him and "write his name on the back of the f-16 with his guns" without even knowing he was there.

  • @Pugzilla69 "without worrying about killing friendlies since it was an exercise"

Red Flag is the most detailed and comprehensive defense training environment in the world and duplicates the normal rules of engagement EXACTLY. Northern Edge uses exactly the same ROE.

"PAK FA has the edge so no" There are currently 3 PAK FA's in existence .... none of them have a radar, only 1 of them has an IRST installed and none of them are cleared for anything over 5G, so no, your statement is crap

  • @Pugzilla69 "RAF Thyphoon beat an F-22 in a dogfight?"

Yes I heard the little fanboi kiddies story and like the rafale story has been proven as bullshit.

"Basic US ROE has been visual ID before engaging even with AEW&C support"

Really, better tell that to the Serbian and Iraqi mig-29's which were destroyed from 50 miles away. Dude, seriously, you don't know the subject matter...I could run rings around you all day but it would be pointless...you'd still have no clue.

  • @Pugzilla69 "the cost is there to maintain stealth."

The cost ... LOL ... the typhoon is MORE expensive than the F-22 anyway .... AHAHAHAHA

    tinyu rl. com/EFcostsmore

Damn, half the capability, would lose by 15-1 against the F-22 in a large scale war and MORE expensive... OUCH!!

Nothing touches the F-22, I won't get into educating you about avionics, but the F-22 can see anything else coming from 800km+. They can only spot the F-22 from 40km ... massive gap :)

  • @Pugzilla69 "The F-22's radar can reach about 400km but that's only on a narrow beam."

Who's talking about radar? I was talking about the alr-94 which can pick up and track the source of radar and radio emissions at more double the enemy's radar range. Unfortunately for the enemy, the F-22's IFDL voice and data transmitters are all directional.

This feature alone allowed F-15's which teamed with F-22's at Red Flag to defeat other F-15's 10 to 1.

  • @Pugzilla69 "ALR is a part of the radar system you dumb c*nt."

Dummy is getting upset, yet still failing. ALR-94 is not a part of the radar numbnuts, its the EW and RWR system. If you knew anything about military radar (you don't) you'd know that vhf to l-band radars are for early warning only. They are never used as acquisition or engagement radars because their tracks are so inaccurate.

Watching you attempt to talk military technology is like watching a baby trying drive a car ..so funny.

  • @Pugzilla69

""its the EW and RWR system." Yes which is part of the overall radar suite, so you're the "numbnuts" here considering the ballcrushing I've given you so far."

EW and RWR are NOT part of the radar. EW = electronic warfare and RWR = radar warning receiver. That's not radar. I really shouldn't need to explain that.

As for Russia and China "mauling" the US. I doubt it. With what logistics? FYI, Russian missile tech has yet to score a BVR kill, but we got plenty of kills for the US.

  • @Pugzilla69 "Yes which is part of the overall radar suite, so you're the "numbnuts" here considering the ballcrushing I've given you so far." Seriously little man, hush. The RWR is NOT a part of the RADAR... the radar is its own system .... each TR module receives its own signal back.... not the ALR. Seriously dude, you are way off and have no idea.

The radar however is part of the EW suite and can perform jamming based off information from the ALR.

    China? HA!

  • @Pugzilla69 I see you like to post forum trash without knowing the background to the information. The pacific sunrise exercise was a logistics exercise.... its was about sortie generation after a cruise missile attack, but you don't have the grey matter to understand the concept so no point instructing you again.

It didn't take into account two of our carriers being in that theatre either :)))

Two CBG's have more firepower than the chinese airforce :)))))

    Keep trying primate :)))

  • @Pugzilla69 "The onus is on you to prove, not me."

Not for me to prove bud, I couldn't give a fuck what some third world, school dropout playing computer games in his mommy's basement thinks about it :)))

Nope Russia has 30% less. The count done this year said TOTAL weapons, not DEPLOYED. Neither Russia nor China (nor the 2 combined) have anywhere near our firepower, conventional or nuclear.

Neither the Rafale nor the EF can supercruise with weapons loaded....only clean. Catch up Forest.

  • @Pugzilla69

"Though current Rafale variants are claimed to be capable of supercruise, the aircraft was unable to demonstrate this during the Singapore evaluation"

The proposed engines for the Rafael that could make supercruise possible aren't even in production so it's a "maybe future ability". For the Rafael and the Typhoon to reach supercruise they have to use afterburners, which isn't supercruise, just a marketing ploy.

  • @Pugzilla69

"Jets were supercuising back in the 50s, nothing new. The Rafale &Typhoon can supercruise with a full weapon load."

For a "top medical student" you are kind of dumb. I'm going to give you a quick physics lessons. If those planes are carrying a full com bat load externally, then it increases their drag profile. That means they are not going to supercruise.

And the maint time is misleading. That's over the entire lifetime of the plane including phasing, but you wouldn't understand

  • @Pugzilla69 High ranking Russian commanders recently advised that NATO has enough cruise missiles to easily perform a decapitation strike on ANY country in the world including Russia and China. With 80,000 cruise missiles in its armory, NATO can completely destroy all command infrastructure without even putting its aircraft in harm's way :))))))))))

  • @Pugzilla69 As part of the disclosure rules of the new START treaty, it was discovered that USA has 30% more nuclear weapons than russia and a far greater ability to deploy them. USA also has a missile shield and systems that can actually stop a nuclear missiles (even before they leave Europe) while Russia has neither :)))))))))))))))))))))

  • @Pugzilla69 USA accounts for 90% of all military satellites in orbit. We are the only country employing multispectral spy satellites which detect IR emissions and also include ground penetrating radar.

We are the only nation in the worldwith a Prompt Global Strike system. We are able to hit any static target in the world within half an hour :)))))))

  • @Pugzilla69 USA is the only country in the word with stealth aircraft, the only country in the world operating stealth drones and the only country that builds attack drones, including the brand new firescouts with will now carry antitank and anti rmour weapons.

    Jealous yet, little poopcake? :)))))))

  • @Pugzilla69 and to give you some perspective....

The F-22 is the best fighter that was ever built and the best fighter in existence. It can super cruise at m1.8 with a full weapons load while no other armed fighter can even break the sound barrier without using fuel sucking afterburners.

The F-22 has an almost perfectly designed airframe for thrust vectoring with it centralised CL and CG. Features of the the F-35's aerodynamic design are more advanced and will be incorporated into the new FX.

  • Simply put, the F-22 has absolutely no equal, not even the new Russian PAK FA or the Chinese J-20.

It is by far the fastest cruiser, by far the best dogfighter, the most stealthy, with by far the best air to air sensors of any fighter in history and in the medium term future.

In the most accurate exercises know to man, it has decimated the F-15, the aircraft which holds the title of the most successful fighter in the world which has a record 105 kills, 0 losses in real air wars.

    Thumbs

  • @FXWorldBeater dumb nationalist

  • @tht1drnkrussian 1. Stealth .... was first perfected by the USAF.

    2. TVC was tested on the F-16 Vista, F-18 Harv, X-31...etc years before the Mig-29 OVT or any other russian jet for that matter. The F-15 was built as a counter to the Mig-25 .... until a russian pilot defected to japan with one and we found out the aircraft was rather 'primitive' in comparison to US jets.

    3. who cares.... vtol actually originated with helicopters... scrub.

    Learn basic aviation history.

    3.

  • @FXWorldBeater well said...

  • @FXWorldBeater Yes! The Russian's always talk up their jets and say they are so much better than US craft.. but when it comes down to it we always find out they are hyped and not nearly as good as said... Like when the Mig-25 defected to Japan. We found out it was not nearly as good as once imagined!

  • @DailyStaley look up what Russias top general Marakov recently stated about Russias weaponry, he came out of the closet.

Google; 'why do russian generals criticize Russian arms'

  • @FXWorldBeater modern war is not the contest between weapons only. Systematic contest is the key to winning. F22 serves its own purpose well, as such standards were raised 25 years ago. Comparatively, J20 and PAK FA are designed recently. Thus they might have different standards compared with F22. Thus, it's not sufficient to simply compare F22 to PAK or J20 statistically, but systematically. From this stand point, F22 might not have overwhelming advantage in systematic contest.

  • @utubegavemeusername Given that the F-22 is part of the USAF's battle "system" it has that advantage by default.

No other airforce has the level of networking that we do. Russian aircraft are in fact incapable of sharing data at the same rates due to TKS-2 (russian datalinks) being more than 50 times slower than link-16, ifdl, madl....etc.

The F-22 clearly has better all aspect stealth than the PAK FA and J-20 which allows it to more effectively act as an ELINT asset than the other 2.

  • @FXWorldBeater that i agree. but do remember F22's mission is striking enemy on every corner of this planet. Thus, F22 requires all-direction stealth, supersonic cruise to achieve that. However, at least IMO, PAK and J20 are not designed to defeat enemies thousands of miles away from their own base. Thus, they only requires front stealth as primary mission is intercepting enemy aircrafts (maybe F22 lol). Therefore, from that stand points, they are qualified fighters in their own system.

  • @utubegavemeusername "but do remember F22's mission is striking enemy on every corner of this planet"

Not really, its primary role is air superiority, interception and strike package escort. Its not designed for long range and global strikes like the B-2 (soon to be replaced by the NGB in development).

PAK FA also has a major issue with its frontal VLO as well due to their inability to design a VLO IRST.

  • @FXWorldBeater lol i dont know why we are arguing this...but really, no fighter beats F22 1vs1. And F22's real advantage is its supersonic cruise capability...or F119 lol, they are the beast

  • @Pugzilla69 lol what country has a higher standard of living than the US? i mean, lets face it. everybody immigrates to america, yet nobody wants to immigrate to finland or whatever the hell youre from. and 1st world country isnt even a real term, dumbass. there are 68 cars for every 100 ppl in america. and were talkin SUVs. closest competitor? UK, with 36. there r more flatscreens in america than ppl to watch them. and ive never seen beggars here, unlike poor-ass europe.

  • @Pugzilla69 the percentage of people with luxuries like microwaves,PCs,dishwashers, and clothes dryers is crazily higher in the US than in europe.the middle class family here has a 3500 sq ft house,3 NICE cars(we can actually afford to use gas here), a swimming pool in the backyard(next to the fire pit and the lawn),and some even have a boat that they keep in their garage.ive been to europe 4 times, and i cant believe how poor you guys are. even the middle class live in apartments. sad

  • @Pugzilla69 "YOU still haven't given me your credentials"

They are better than some little kid who plays computer games all day and pretends he's a med student :)) AHAHAHA!

  • @Pugzilla69 "every time I have debunked your "facts" you move onto another one"

Lol, "debunked". You've merely made a whole bunch or personal assumptions without any fact to back it up then presented it like a simpleton with no insight watsoever. Then you've embarassed yourself by being completely incorrect in pretty much all aspects of all your statements. Funny watching you trying to pat yourself on the back afterwards tho .... you entertain me, oaf. Good work Forest!

  • @Pugzilla69 AHAHAHA! Stupid dumbo thought the RADAR was a "suite" that the EW system is part of, when its the opposite way around AAAHAHAHAH!!!!

At least learn basic 101 terminology before entering an argument goofy. Go back to failing life little 3rd world guy.

You went full retard..... you should never go full retard!

  • @Pugzilla69 "The F-35 has more advanced avionics if you want to get technical"

In some ways, but the F-22's ALR is far better (30 as opposed to 10 receivers, better frequency hopping agility) than the F-35's and the F-22's APG-77 has a higher TR count which means higher PPO and APO.

The F-35's EODAS and EOTS, HMD II are something the F-22 doesn't have yet, but we'll see those on the FX and ADF.

Trust me, if I wanted to get technical, you wouldn't understand a word I was saying.

  • @Pugzilla69 "The Craptor was cancelled because it's an overrated and unreliable turkey"

The raptor was cut short because who is there to compete with us with air power? Russia, with the second largest airforce only has 700 4th gen + aircraft to our 3500. Why do we need a silver bullet air dominance fighter when our mainstream fighters can beat anyone else 5 times over.

BTW you aint that intelligent dummy..... you'd be flat out cracking 90iq.

  • @Pugzilla69 "The F-22 cried off, claiming they were "unstealthed" anway"

F-22's always wear their luneburg lense device when in exercises with foreign aircraft and when not in war. Its the little probe device you can see hanging off the bottom of the aircraft in most photo's.

Its an RCS enhancer used for safety and stops other aircraft from running into it when they can't see it.

    i52.tinypic. com/11lrjtl. jpg

But of course you didn't know that...come back when you know the subject

  • @FXWorldBeater Dude he obviously got owned. At least im arguing with a smarter kid.

This dude is stupid. 3/4 of what he says is fake. :)

  • yah how can i get to ride in one!!!!!!!!!

  • f22 vs PAKFA? that would be something i'd pay for to see, couldn't say who would win.

  • The F-22 Raptor, Putins worst nightmare.

  • @DeMoNMiNdLS :D I don't think so...

  • @DeMoNMiNdLS Did you hear about Т-50 ?

  • @paulcadaver Really? I think a stealth attack is ninja. Plus the fact that you don't get your ass shot at is a big plus too.
