Evolution does not state that an organism will experience/produce more advanced genetic information. The term "genetic information" is a bit of a misnomer. Humans ascribe the DNA strand as containing info; in much the same way as we ascribe the meaning of the word "chair". Also, DNA does not become "more advanced"; it just changes.

Such folding could only have occurred through slow, gradual distortion of the landscape. As is consistent with everything else we know about geology, and the geology of the GC area in particular.

On the contrary. Most of these "dissenters" have little to do with biology. Behe is the notable exception - and he does not (officially) reject evolutionary theory. Most of the "dissenters" are medics, lawyers, mathematicians, astronomers. Evolution does not state that an organism will experience/produce more advanced genetic information. The term "genetic information" is a bit of a misnomer. Humans ascribe the DNA strand as containing info; in much the same way as we ascribe the meaning of the word "chair". Also, DNA does not become "more advanced"; it just changes.

On the contrary: mutations are almost always neutral. Most of those mutations that do have effect have too little impact to greatly help or hamper the survival chances of the organism. @gregrutz We find an entire series of sedimentary layers nearly a mile deep at the grand Canyon, that together folded without fracturing. this is possible only if a flood laid down these layers in rapid succession and the layers were folded quickly while still soft and pliable. We have sea animals in layers thousands of feet above sea level on EVERY continent. this is only possible if there were a worldwide flood. But, you are free not to believe that if you choose.

There is no wind erosion between the layers to indicate any different. the same with the sediment that goes across continents. That can only be from a WORLD wide flood. On the contrary; such rapid folding would have fractured the bedrock of the landscape, no matter how much sediment you piled on. Such folding could only have occurred through slow, gradual distortion of the landscape. As is consistent with everything else we know about geology, and the geology of the GC area in particular.

Most of the "dissenters" are medics, lawyers, mathematicians, astronomers. There is no such thing as kinds. It is a religious term that fits nowhere in taxonomy. Micro-evolution is below the level of species and Macro-evolution is above the level of species. Google ‘observed instances of speciation’ or ‘ring species’. So Macro-evolution has been observed. Macro-evolution = Micro-evolution x time. Why are you commenting on something that you have no understanding of?
