The name that's normally used for this method is "Ghost Bump". In this case it's a solo ghost bump. In that particular cave it's easier to bump into the wall if you're further forward, as bumping in where you were is where a line in the wall is, which, being solid, won't let you into the wall there. You got lucky one of the times and actually did a warp, the other time you bumped onto the line because you were further back. Walking on the lines is ledging, you can go a lot further.
