I do not know for myself, but just by math she was a full-grown cat by the time of his death so at least 1, and this year marks the 20th year since his passing. So if she WAS living, she would have to be at least 21 years old which is extremely remarkable for even the most well-kept kitty. My guess would be she is probably purring for him in heaven. And hopefully not peeing on his things anymore :-p

Their seventies releases, for the most part, are brilliant. Their eighties releases were a bit hit or miss; some were fantastic (Radio Ga Ga, Who Wants To Live Forever, I Want It All, as examples), while some were mediocre (Rain Must Fall, My Baby Does Me, Don't Try Suicide).
I quite like "Delilah", as it's reminiscent of some of their more quirky songs from their earlier albums ("Bring Back That Leroy Brown" and "Seaside Rendezvous" come to mind.)

@RakHapoelPT I saw an interview about it once- saying the rest of the group were at first very reluctant to do a song about freddie's cats, But with him being so poorly they relented and then in retrospect were very glad they did.

@fairytaleforest Yep I remember hearing in an interview that the other members of Queen were not to keen on the idea of Freddies songs about his cats being included on their new album.

Unless you have a cat (or another type of mischievous small pet), you can't understand this song.
Pets really accept you no matter what, and when Freddie did this song, he was feeling horrible about himself. But, the beauty about pets is they don't care if you're down...they want to be near you just the same.
So, to those that think this song is silly: don't listen to it! A lot of us love it. I do! :o)

At the begginig, Roger Taylor thought a song about Freddie's cat wasn't exactly a great idea, but he agreed as it could have been one of Mercury's last desires.
