But to be fair Liam is hot headed and probably threw the guitar in the heat of the moment. I am guessing that Noel was winning the verbal arguement (like he would) and eventually Liam got frustrated and threw the nearest thing to hand @ him...his guitar.

It's just like Liam to ignore all his mistakes and blame everything on Noel though. To listen to him speak he is the most level-headed easy-going guy in the world! AS IF!

Liam didn't just break any guitar of Noel's, he broke Noel's red Epiphone 355, his main guitar. It was symbolic to break Noel's main tool in the manifestation of his brilliance. In other words, Liam is jealous of Noel in every way and he broke the instrument that Noel uses to create the brilliance. By the way, it's the very guitar which made little Liam a very rich pain in the ass.

Dude, I'm serious. Liam gave an interview that said Noel was irritated with him and broke the guitar that Nicole gave him and that he then broke Noel's favorite guitar. He didn't call it the Cherry Epi, but that is Noel's favorite guitar. Knowing that should make anyone understand why Noel walked out that night. I'll see if I can remember where I read that article with Liam's comments. I think it was something recent because of his Pretty Green shit he's promoting. I'm broken hearted too.

It very well may have been the Epiphone...but it's not established. Noel uses @ least 2 during the show + back-ups. Hopefully the guitar in the dressing room would have been a back-up.
