  • Great show, great guys.

  • Hey, that means that we shall know when this will happen! Just put the head out through the window, whos the king? Is it world peace? Turn on your radio and TV, read the papers, that is how we shall know.

  • Wow, I found a good vers from the Scriptures. Yermiyah Chapter 31:32-33: 32)But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD, I will put My law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people; 33)and they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying: 'Know the LORD'; for they shall all know Me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, sait

  • I love this show!

  • Center of the Universe? Go fuck yourselves.

  • @TheItchyFetus

pretty ignorant statement. you lack a true study of the bible. Why is this little country the size of NJ the envy of the world? Why is there so much fighting over the land and temple mount? it goes back to Ishmael and Isaac. Israel is chosen and the blessed of Hashem. Jerusalem is the center of the world from the viewpoint of G-d.

  • @mwardle66 ...its called Brain Washing.

  • More times than not potential converts havent even stepped into the synagougue and they are already complaining. They thought an unanswered phone call or E-mail meant they were being shut down. If a Rabbi has invited you to attend service but isnt all boot licky, stop waiting for him to warm up for you. He is pulling with one hand and pushing with the other. If this causes you to not continue then he has just had his questions about your sincerity answered. Get the looking 4 a buddy thing outy.

  • 7:40 BINGO!!!!

  • I needed to hear this and have listened to it twice already. Thank you.

  • I have wanted to convert for a few years now, but fear what tovia is saying; that i will abandon judaism later in life.

But listening to what tovia says really makes me feel silly for waiting so long.

  • This is a tragedy to me as I believe with all my being the Truth of Torah and Judaism and imagine how it really can transform the world. Thank you Tovia for all you are doing. You have been a light 9000 miles away to me!!!!

  • I think it also has to do with people changing judaism.. If jews did proslytise i think there would be as many sects as there are in christianity.

  • I was the caller, and a bit nervous. Yes, the suffering servant is Israel. It seems to me that she prolongs this suffering by not making a stronger effort in converting. I do not agree in prostelyzing, but think the priests of the nations should open the doors to the potential converts. I can only imagine how many souls are welcomed with a closed door.

  • Very good question you had. I think when it comes to conversion Orthodox Judaism is at a great impasse. On one hand, Orthodoxy is insistant of many things which most people cannot just drop and immediately start doing without becoming homeless. On the other hand, it is the only place to find real spiritual information and truth (in my opinion). I do understand the many rules and regulations in Orthodoxy, however, I also think it's right that conversion should not be encouraged. (continued)

  • I agree with your reply in whole and thank you for your thoughts. It is an amazing contrast living in a christian nation where they will kick in the door and convert anyone for a lie while the "bearers of the torch", at least in my parts in nor-cal literally wont talk to you. I also study much and understand the reasons why, therefore I don't judge them, I just remain frustrated because of my love for the Truth that I believe is in some ways held hostage. Does this prolong her suffering?

  • Hi elessar, I had a reply here that didn't show up for some strange reason. I wrote also that it is taught that converts are not good for the Jewish people as it is sort of a damning expression of how short the nation falls. Also the performance of mitzvot are more exacting for converts because they CHOSE the Jewish lifestyle. I do understand both arguments; but yet I love Torah truth. I am in an impasse in my life also about this issue, so I understand. I am glad you asked your question.

  • I don't understand.

So if you have a desire to be Jewish you should be in a hurry to make *yourself* a sinner? As much as I love Judaism, no thanks, Rabbi!

And that's why the caller had his question in the first place, methinks.

  • Suffering Servant is the nation of Israel.
