so you can model in mudbox then bring ur model into Maya right?

Hello Mr Mudbox.

i have a question. Whenever i try, to paint, my skintexture to my model, it has another color. It is not the color from the skintexture, i bought by 3dsk. Is there any way to change it? I was wondering about it. My Skin Texture ist very white, because she is a white person, and then i drawn it over my object, and suddenly the skintexture ist brown?????

How do you get the tools to draw lines in or just add detail? I can't seem to get any results from them.

Very useful tutorial! I never would have thought to use stencils in this way - mind you I'm new to mudbox. 3Dsk is the only place I know of for Human textures... cgtextures is great for environments

Try 3dsk for the skin textures. This is where I got mine.

Amazing tutorial! Ive just started using mudbox 2011 after using 3ds max, im still very much a beginner in all this but even this video helps me to see whats possible and a good foundation for my learning.

Hey thanks for the video. When I try and paint with my stencils...the colour seems to be half transparent....Or like a really thin layer. Any ideas of how to get the full stencil onto the mesh? thanks
