  • Can I buy it on the Internet please

  • Brilliant! Where can I purchase one (contessa)?

  • Bobbi, you're SO Beautiful!! and so is the wig. : )

  • it luks so realistic...in the beginning of this video i thought that hair(wig) was really her hair....

  • Okay, that is a lovely wig but the music is making this video seem waaaaaaay too depressing.

  • @iFauxPas Well, we can't say we completely disagree with you. :)

  • i thought she had cancer or something>.<

  • @Breyerluvr4eva No, Teresa is just dealing with severely damaged hair. However, Miss Delaware 2010, Kayla Martell, also wears wigs occasionally because she suffers from Alopecia, a disease that causes hair loss.

  • I'm a male and I also wear wigs. Theyre amazing.

I'm 21. Young, active, college student. But I have diffused alopecia.

Without my wig, I look 10 years older.

Theyre quite amazing. Totally suggest everyone to get one if theyre suffering any kind of hair loss!

  • @KaiserFailed Thanks for your comment! Yes, we'd like everyone suffering from hair loss to know that there ARE options available. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin. :)

  • @FoodNazi001 Yes, you're correct. Fully custom-made human-hair wigs can be expensive. However we do our best to work within our clients' needs, and we've even done charity events where we provide wigs at no cost to women & children suffering from hair loss.

  • What a precious young lady. Im so glad she is getting assistance with her hair. I can only imagine her pain.

  • How much is a wig like this? I am 28 and have had androgenetic alopecia for 12 years.

  • @boriqua184 Hi there. Because we custom-make wigs for each of our clients, the cost can vary based on size, hair type (human vs synthetic), etc. But we'd love to answer any questions you have. Please call us at (813) 269-4247.

  • I'm seriously considering this. My hair is mid-length, but I want to go short for summer (it's summer here in Australia) and just have a long hair wig for going out nights. :-) Thankyou for showing us this product! XO

  • @jazzionify You're welcome! We love to give all women the option to add more hair, whether it's for medical or cosmetic reasons!

  • i dont know why, but am scared of wigs :|

  • What a Godsend you people are. I'm going online now to your site and you will be hearing from me soon!

  • hey! thats not fair! i have short curly hair too! but I don't get any fancy extensions or wigs. shame shame.

  • This girl does not need a wig. She's got a full set of hair.

  • @DanKelso Not everyone that wears a wig - or extensions - needs a wig. Quite often it's a matter of simply feeling better about yourself. In Teresa's case, though, her hair was so damaged that it was literally breaking off.

  • Hair Therapy For Women is on Facebook

  • can you wear wigs in miss america? like during the competition?

  • soooo beautiful woow

  • her real hair is so beautiful

  • Poor Unfortunate Soul! I feel sorry for her!

  • she looks like shakira look at 3:40 she wolf!

  • @princessofDBZ indeed ;D

  • just saw her 5 minutes ago in Lincoln, Ne.

  • that looks soooooo real

  • Wow it looks great.. Never saw this before

  • met her today!

  • Um, woman (esp. in Miss America...Delta Burke etc) have been wearing wigs or hair pieces forever. Props to her for being open about it. But can we plz cut the depressing music?

  • Where did she get that wig from? D:

  • Dear AnnieGetYourGunTV ,

She went to Hair Therapy for Women in Tampa, Florida.. A specialty studio that helps women who "need more hair." They specialize in hair extensions, hair replacement, hair pieces, wigs, and chemotherapy prosthetics. The contact information is at the end of the video.

  • Im sooo glad white women are being more open about using hair these days. They did it before black people. The more we're open and honest the more we can see that we are all the same.

  • this is by far the nicest wig and most beautiful model on the web! i've seen a lot.

  • the miss america organization is NOT a world renowned beauty pageant. I compete in the miss america organization and we hate it being called a beauty pageant because we are not! the girls that compete in miss america have so much more to offer than the the miss usa girls which are a beauty pageant. the girls that compete at miss america are doctors, top of our class, harvard people while miss usa is more models and actresses. it is a SCHOLARSHIP program not a beauty pageant.

  • @HiC5 That's all well and good. But you still have to be attractive to win. so.... it is about looks too.

  • I think it's great that she's upfront about her hair so women begin to understand that most women in the public eye are rarely as naturally physically perfect as they appear. Also so many stars wear hair extensions. What's the difference?

  • @BaharAK2009 Miss Nebraska does indeed deserve the crown. She may be young but she is a Christian and I'm even from Arkansas and I'm saying that. So it should mean a lot because most Arkansans are throwing a fit. I understand she deserved.

  • Fabulous!!!

  • i know this is semi off-topic, but i really enjoyed the music in this clip. Can anyone direct me to a download of this song? thanks :)

  • What's the big deal about a wig on a pageant girl? Most of them are spray tanned, have their teeth bleached, wear acrylic nails, sport silicone implants in their chests, etc They are coached on how to answer interview questions and have memorized talking points....there's nothing authentic or natural about any of them, so the wig is no big deal.

  • @luckyduck63 Wow...obviously you do not know a lot about the Miss America Program. Teresa is an amazing young women. The women that compete for the Miss America Pageant are authentic and natural. Miss America is far from a beauty pageant, if you are looking for a beauty pageant watch Miss USA. At least Teresa came out and told people about this. And yes, these women go through a ton of training for on-stage and interview....thats just part of the program! Its not cheating, far from it actually!

  • Miss Nebraska didn't hide the fact that she was wearing a wig and even allowed this video to post prior to the pageant...it is not cheating; more significantly, it is not why she won. She won the judges over by gaining their confidence through her interviews with them and because of her achievements. During the press conference, not a single judge even gave mention to Miss Scanlan's hair. Isn't it time to move beyond the wig as an "issue"?

  • Britney Spears should look into getting a wig like that.

  • I don't see what the big deal is. Miss Delaware Kayla Martell has to wear a wig any because of her alopecia areata. This just evens the field.

  • How is that "cheating"? Most women shave their "natural" leg and armpit hair!!! Most women wear makeup (not too natural) ~many women color or dye their hair, that's not the "natural" look!!! We women wear perfume, deordorant, nail polish, etc. Miss America is looking for beauty, but, don't be naive, it's enhanced. Beauty is more than the outside and if you knew Teresa, you'd find out that she's beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the inside.

  • @MsAbracadebra, You are so true about this. The only thing that I would like to say is that Miss America is not a beauty pageant. It is a scholarship program, yes beauty is part of it....but its about confidence, poise, inner beauty, community service and so much more!! Teresa is an AMAZING young women. She won Miss America because she showed the judges that she could handle the duty and the title :)

  • THIS girl never had alopecia, that is MISS DELAWARE. She does not and did not have cancer!

  • U GUYS are stupid she needs a wig becuz she had cancer and she is bald

  • I think the fact that she made this video says a lot. She's got nothing to hide...

  • It is Gorgeous ... Great Hair Day Teresa

  • At least she's not hiding it. She's open about it and that's all that matters. She's not afraid to say that her hair isn't drop dead gorgeous, and that she's no different than the 95% of women who have dry and damaged hair. Doesn't that make her more beautiful that she is open about NOT being perfect?

Congrats to her and the Husker state!

  • It doesnt matter how she won. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL and SHE WON UNLIKE ALL OF YOU HATERS. Your on the sidelines while she walks down the runway. Your hate is nothing!

  • @cybilrose WOOT agree!

  • She is a very beautiful woman and I like the fact that she is comfortable proving that she is not perfect. Her soft curly hair is attractive, but short hair is not the "in thing" right now and she would not have won with short hair. Also, women wear wigs and hair pieces all the time. No big deal.

  • She's one of the most gorgeous Miss America of the last years...

  • she is miss america 2011, youngest in history. you are very wrong to say she's just an average blond. she is a giant.

  • Today's girls are so fake. At least Miss America is not a black girl trying to be white.

  • Dear baharak2009, not deserving of the crown? I personally know Teresa...... Let me ask you this, how many of the other 52 contestants have fake nails, fake tans, fake BOOBS, or even a fake personality? Teresa is sooooooo deserving of that crown fake hair or no hair! She is a beautiful, intelligent, talented, eloquent, young woman... Yay her for being open about using hair therapy.

  • I dont think it is an issue to wear a wig, her choice. its just like getting a spray tan. just something else to wear. good for her for not wanting to keep damaging her hair for Miss America. and being a blonde, is so damaging to the hair to have to keep bleaching. I see the wig as just another item to wear. Congrats to her for winning, she deserved it! :)

  • I do not know the facts, so she had, say, the wig on in competition as well? If so, I am sure she has been open about it? Isnt it just that she wants to support and encourage women with hair problems to shrug off feelings of shame, and just have good hair which is not their own and feel good about it? Wouldnt surprise me. Just a thought.

  • WELL IT WORK SHE WON THE TITLE SHE IS THE NEW MISS AMERICA THE YOUNGEST...CONGRATS

  • How can she be Miss America with fake hair?!!!! I think the justices didn't do a good job in selecting her, she doesn't deserve it!!!

  • it looks amazing! from someone who has had cancer and has lost their hair, I understand the feeling of wanting lush beautiful hair when you don't have it.

  • Thank you for posting! I've been struggling with Alopecia since the birth of my 3rd child. I've not tried any wigs (mail order or even on ebay) because I didn't want to spend the money and have a fake look. But, these wigs are gorgeous! If Miss Delaware and Miss Nebraska can do it, so can I. :o)

  • Wow, Real Nice! It looks so real and stunning, I couldn't even tell it wasnt real and its so sexy on her!
